결과야 어쨌든 10년전에 가졌어야 했던 일종의(?) 안식년을 보내고 있는 셈인데, 이럴때 맘편히 실컷 놀아야지 또 언제 놀아보겠는가하는 자못 비장한 마음으로 떠난 휴가가 어찌 안즐거울 수가 있겠는가?(응?) 여행에 있어 늘 되뇌이는 약속이 몇가지있는데, - 잘거, 탈거는 미리 - 여권은 내 또다른 신체장기 - 일정은 outline만 (그래도 80%이상의 itinerary는 짜여져있음, 머릿속에.직업병) details는 그때그때 상황에 따라 유동적으로 (반드시 예약이 필요한 곳 제외) -소유가 목적이 아닌 경험이 목적이 되는 소비로 -무엇보다도 제일 중요한건 안전 -언제 또 오겠냐가 아닌 나중에 또와야지 하는 마음 -일정이 틀어져도 길을 잃어도 비가와도 그안에서 즐거움을 찾을 수 있는 긍정적인 마음 물론 다 지켜지지 않은적이 더 많지만, 그덕분에 집에 돌아갈때쯤이면 아쉬움보다는 자알 놀다갑니다하는 만족감이 더 큰편이니 이정도면 된거지 뭐. 주저리주저리가 좀 길었는데, 이번 여행은 사실 포루투갈과 일본 사이에서 고민을 꽤 했는데, 포루투갈은 아무래도 좀더 긴 일정으로 인한 비용적인 부분이 부담스러워 로또 당첨되면 가는걸로 하고(뭐래) 지난 가을(이 아닌 늦여름이었지, x라 더웠어) 갔었던 교토&오사카를 좀더 자세히 둘러보기로. 그리고 그 다음 일본 여행은 도쿄가 되기를 바라는 마음으로… 그래도 한번 가봤다고 지도가 머릿속에 그려지니 하루에 한끼는 맛있는 밥과 맛있는 커피를 마셔보자라는 꽤나 여유있는 다짐(?)으로 씹고뜯고맛보고 다닌 매우 재미있었던 여행이었음. 사진은 여행 첫날 이슬비가 내렸던 저녁의 교토외곽 아라시야마 치쿠린. 일몰중인 햇빛에 반사된 죽림의 우아함과 관광객이 빠져나간 고요함이 어우러져 너무 아름다웠음 배터리가 off되는바람에 치쿠린에서 다른길로 빠져서 좀 헤맸는데 그덕에 고즈넉한 교토 주택가를 구경하게되어 발에게 덜 미안했음 #교토#아라시야마#치쿠린 #kyoto #arashiyamabambooforest

I’ll admit Arashiyama’s bamboo forest in Kyoto is a bit overcrowded and overrated. But there is something so charming about bamboo. Maybe it’s because I grew up in America, where bamboo doesn’t grow naturally. Even so, I love seeing the tall, narrow stalks. It seems like the stretch on forever. On second thought, maybe I just like any forest because I spend so much time in the city. Day 1 in Kyoto. Went to the Fushimi Inari-taisha shrine, famous for it's thousands of torii gates.⛩️ It is situated on top of a hill, with several different paths to the top. I managed to reach the top, pray at the shrine, and get my fortune told from a silver-looking sylinder with fortune sticks inside. Being less exhausted from the climb going down, I got to enjoy the view of Kyoto. 🐸🏙 Next stop was the Arashiyama Bamboo Forest. Went for a walk to marvel at the bamboo, and came out from the forest by a little lake in the sunset. Japanese nature is amazing 💚 I also stopped by the Nishiki market to try some foods and have a look at all the different stalls. 🇫🇷 QUELLE FORÊT DE BAMBOUS À KYOTO ? À Kyoto, on a visité plusieurs forêts de bambous et en même temps il faut dire qu’il y en a pas mal là-bas 😅 La plus connue de toute est évidemment Arashiyama qui a l’avantage d’être gratuite mais qui a aussi tendance a être surpeuplée vu sa notoriété. Pourtant, il y a d’autres options (mais qui sont payantes) pour profiter des forêts de bambous avec un peu moins de monde 😊 On a pu en voir aussi à Adashino Nenbutsuji Temple, même si ce n’est qu’une allée et que c’est donc un peu plus petit qu’Arashiyama. L’entrée du temple coûte 500 yens par personne (3€) 💸 Ensuite, on en a vu au Kodai-Ji. Encore une fois c’est une allée avec un escalier qui se fait rapidement mais ça reste très beau. L’entrée du temple coûte 600 yens par personne (3,5€) 💸 Enfin, il y avait une forêt de bambous dans la montée du temple Choraku-ji. C’est l’endroit où il y avait le moins de monde parmi tous ceux qu’on a visité. Par contre c’était la moins belle forêt de bambous et aussi la plus chère puisque l’entrée coûtait 1 000 yens par personne (6€) 💸 👉 Notre préférence revient quand même à Arashiyama et en venant tôt on peut réussir à ne pas avoir trop de monde.
