Em 2024, eu decidi investir meu tempo mais em livros e filmes, além de doramas e séries, e o 1º filme que assisti foi um filme japonês baseado numa novel chamada “Watashi no Shiawasena Kekkon”. Também conhecido pelo nome de “The Happy Marriage”, foi por esse nome de primeira que me atraiu. Não conheço muito o cinema japonês, mas gosto bastante de fantasia, então isso já ajudou. . O filme conta a história de Saimori Miyo, fruto de um casamento sem amor. Depois da morte de sua mãe, seu pai se casa novemente e Miyo é transformada numa mera serva. Sim, muito parecida com a história da nossa gata borralheira. Porém, diferente da Cinderela, Miyo é dada em casamento para um capitão militar com fama de cruel e por ter expulsado todas as candidatas a esposa anteriores. O que ela não contava é que Kudo Kiyoka fosse tão amável e nem que ele fosse se apaixonar por ela, mesmo ela não tendo herdado as habilidades psíquicas de sua família. . Eu amei como o relacionamento deles se desenvolveu. Apesar de rápido por ser um filme, foi muito doce. Kiyoka, além de lindíssimo, é gentil e logo se apaixona por Miyo. O fato dela pensar não ter nenhuma habilidade não é nenhum empecilho para que ele queira estar com ela. Miyo não poderia sequer imaginar que aquele homem lindo e com habilidades poderosas pudesse querê-la, mas foi isso que aconteceu. . Por ser um filme de fantasia, está repleto de efeitos especiais muito bons. As cenas de luta são bastante críveis e a cena do Kiyoka resgatando a Miyo do sequestro arquitetado pela “irmã” que decidiu querer Kiyoka foi, para mim, o ponto alto do filme. Vale muito a pena. . My Happy Marriage/As Long As We Both Shall Live Part 2 💕 I forgot to mention in my other post that this is my first time watching in vista cinemas cos before I would watch them either in sm or robinson. It just so happens that this is the only mall near me (not really that near cos it's 1 hour away from home but let's just leave it at that) that acquired watakon cos idk wtf happened to sm and they didn't premiere in any mall near me it's always in manila 😭 and when I was planning on going all the way to southmall just to watch this i found out that they already removed it from their screening like literally just 1 day after its screening?!! I almost lost hope istg. I've been waiting for this all my life and now that it's finally being shown here I can't even watch it? I finally got to watch watakon in BIG SCREEN 😭👏 I really thought that I wouldn't be able to see it in big screen anymore cos its copy has been distributed everywhere and i thought that eventually I'll have no choice but to watch it on site too, even though what i really want was to see it in big screen but thank god PH cinemas came at the last minute. Anyway just as what I was expecting when i saw the trailer earlier this year the movie really lives up to the expectations or actually it even exceeded my expectations?! IT'S JUST THAT GOOD I SWEAR! I already said this before and I'll keep on saying this but them casting meguro ren for kudo kiyoka and imada mio for saimori mio was literally the bestest thing about this film! It was a perfect casting! From a light novel to manga and now an adaptation to the big screen, As Long As We Both Shall Live gives authentic anime vibes that try to elevate the source material.
