XL FAMILY TENT - AVAILABLE FROM THE 2ND OF APRIL ONWARDS Due to a cancellation, we now have our Luxury XL Family Tent available during the Easter holidays from the 2nd of April 2024 onwards. The Luxury XL Family Tent is set up on a waterfront site with one of our Mini Ensuites (small sink, shower & portaloo toilet, upgrade to our Luxury Ensuite available) it has 2 separate rooms: one with a queen-size bed plus a single bed (with room divider) & second room with 1 single bed and kitchen storage area (fully equipped with cutlery, pots & pans etc.) and full size frigde/freezer. With an old old old pine floor like this that has more peaks and valleys than the Victorian high country, a gentle approach must be taken..Actually I lie, the boards still had 27mm of solid timber left even after having been sanded multiple times by other people. I went hell for leather. Then cleaned and evened all the gaps, followed by as much sikaflex as I could manage to seal everything up. Then a few beautiful coats of polycure 2k waterbase in matt....... Following on from our Rocky Point Retreat post. You can take a drive from the retreat out to Rules Beach. There's not much there at all apart from the beach. We took the big girl on the beach for a drive and she loved it. There is a new caravan park being built at Rules and it looks like it could be open for Christmas. While it's right on the beach, it's behind the dunes so you wouldn't have a full beach view. There is also a campground at the mouth of Baffle Creek, accessible by 4WD only from Rules Beach.
