I will keep trying, I will keep going, i was made for this sweet little life. Even when the moments are hard, and it’s difficult to take a breath… this past year has continued to place things into perspective. What truly matters. A simple life, I have seen to be a happy life. Even in the hard moments, I continue to own the little life we have. Showing up as a vulnerable human being makes life quite simple. It removes the fluff, because I can just be me, as I strive to become a kinder, better version of myself through the process of growth. Being perfect isn’t what my little man needs, he just needs a mama that shows up for him wholeheartedly, flaws and all. Trying to be a perfect version of ourselves or waiting till everything is just so, is actually not helping anyone, and that includes us. It tends to create walls, and keep others far from us, it also makes it harder to work on our personal goals to grow and do better. In the quiet moments of daily life, these moments are the moments that fill our hearts with the warm comfort of knowing that we can choose joy, that we can be intentional in our choice to live simple… There is nothing that takes the pressure off more than when we choose to do the best we can with what we have right now. Owning our current circumstances and living with intention, doing what we can to grow where we are currently planted. Choosing to thrive. Becoming Intentional When we pause and reflect we are able to see the benefits, as things become more manageable and less overwhelming. Making this a regular habit leads us to greater clarity about ourselves and our world, allowing us to make choices better suited for us. Becoming intentional, then, is the next step. We can think, feel and act in accordance with our true selves, which results in us be happier and healthier. The law of attraction will come into play: we'll attract more of what we need and less of what we do not. Becoming intentional is one way to ensure you are living the life of your dreams, one in alignment with yourself. Being in control brings you the confidence, safety and security to live a life of joy. I enjoyed working on this particular project because I was able to achieve what the client want and the reviews I got from this design is damn soothing from different people. The second slide was what the masterpiece I came up with first and the client said she liked it but it's too SERIOUS and she wants something playful and conversational. Then I sat and thought for a moment on what to do differently to achieve what the client want. I decided to use a more brilliant and playful colour and played with it well. I decided to use playful elements. And I used serious typography to depict the seriousness of the content of the program itself so it won't give people impression that it is not going to be worth attending. The client liked it. Her aim to make the design look like the program will be conversational and not sort of a webinar was achieved. This is the technical part of designing many graphic designer don't understand.
