📍 Benagil 🇵🇹 We also visited another of the most popular locations in the Algarve region. We planned to visit the famous Benagil Cave and the heart-shaped rock. The town of Olhos de Água on the Algarve coast of Portugal was our next stop. Three days on the Atlantic gave us plenty of time to enjoy some trail runs and hikes along the cliffs. There was even a chance for one of us to take a dip in the sea (ok….so someone had to stay on the boat to take the pictures 😉). . I absolutely love the Algarve region in Portugal, well known for its stunning coastline, which includes several beautiful caves and rock formations. One of the most famous is the Benagil Sea Cave, often referred to as the Algar de Benagil or simply the Benagil Cave, we visited by boat, but many kayak into the cave for lunch ready with the picnics & wine. It's located near the town of Benagil and is renowned for its large dome-shaped opening, allowing sunlight to flood into the cave and illuminate its golden sand beach. Aujourd’hui, dans la région de Carvoeiro, j’ai monté et descendu les Sept vallées suspendues sur 11,5 km, avec dénivelé de 400 mètres, parfois plus.
