WOWOW Acquires Second Season of Black Camel Pictures, Annika All3Media International has confirmed that WOWOW, pay TV broadcaster in Japan, has attained the second season of Annika from Black Camel Pictures. Due to the resounding success of the first season, WOWOW has decided to re-license the initial instalment of the series. Falling for Figaro is a 2021 romantic comedy film from Glasgow-based Black Camel Pictures, starring Danielle Macdonald, Hugh Skinner and Joanna Lumley. With over 30 years in the film and TV industry, Michael has had plenty of experience when it comes to costumes. When asked what his favourite memory from Annika was, Michael enjoyed a particular stunt which involved a lot of fire and cast going into the water…always a fun day for the costume department. Alba has worked as a commercial make-up artist for almost five years now and loves meeting and interacting with different people. To Alba, hair and make-up is not necessarily only about just applying it…but also having to think about using different types of tools and mediums on-the-go to create realistic and creative looks. When we asked Corrie about a fun memory on set, she remembers spending the afternoon shooting in a little flat in the East End of Glasgow. She makes sure that everything we film is in focus - not an easy task when our talent are sprinting down streets, boats are cruising up lochs and actors are jumping into estuaries left, right and centre. She has an encyclopaedic knowledge of cameras and equipment, which she uses to ensure that we have the right lenses and kit for each shot, which can be particularly challenging considering our four seasons in one day Scottish climate! He makes sure the crew always know where they're going while also facilitating everything from parking to power supplies. We know he's headed up the ranks - he's ambitious, charismatic and cheerful. He didn't even moan when his hand got squished behind a truck on set! When asked how he started working in locations, he said that one day he was walking his dog, bumped into a film crew and asked them for a job...and he's been working in the department ever since. It's Meet the Team Monday! We're thrilled to introduce Innes Goodall (@fireflysneeze), #Annika's cheery Covid Marshal! Innes is responsible for taking the crew's temperatures every morning, handing out PPE throughout the day and keeping a watchful eye on set to ensure the production is as safe as possible while shooting during the pandemic. Innes graduated from @edinburghnapier’s BA Film programme last July as a producer and wrote her dissertation on Hollywood musicals, which she still thankfully loves!
