Started in 1972, for Anna many innovative recording devices were used, labeling the film as avant-garde and experimental. The project was conceived by Sarchielli, who called Grifi to collaborate because the latter was a more skilled director. The noise of the car's wheels burning rubber on the wet, rainy pavement, and the roar of the engine, would usually be deafening, but tonight, it is easily drowned out by the earth-shaking thunderous sounds of the Asian giantess' forceful footsteps, speedily lumbering behind this car. All who are watching are only certain of two things: 1) The sheer size and power of this woman make her more like a force of nature or deity than a mere tiny mortal person 2) I am sure glad to not be the driver of that unfortunate car she is chasing

Terry Carter was celebrated for his contributions to education, media, acting, and as a civil rights activist. Carter's early work as a newscaster began in 1965 when he joined WBZ-TV in Boston as a weekend anchor-reporter. He made history as one of the first Black television newsmen in the world. He felt he was fired from the station because of his civil rights work, which sparked his lifelong dedication to community work and helping generations of journalists of color. Carter starred in the 1973 Blaxploitation film Brother on the Run and portrayed Pam Grier's boyfriend in Foxy Brown.
