There are many targets included in the Core Game. I could narrow the lists down, but I do not want to do that, and most likely will not do it. I have included the majority of the targets bombed by the ETO medium and light bomb groups between July 1943 and May 1945. There are mainly three reasons behind these very extensive target lists; they are a historical document (unfortunately not 100% accurate and correct); re-playability; it is possible to recreate any one of the groups' mission history, for example the 322nd, 394th or 416th. Not all targets are included though, so if there is a target in a group's mission history, but not in the target list, then the player must improvise or do some further research. However, not all targets have been found on the maps I used; some can be misspelled and perhaps then be in an irrelevant area, and other targets are not included because of the proximity to other targets, or because there are so many targets included, some targets have not been found at all. The images are screenshots of a few target lists. For those of you who are familiar with B-17: Queen of the Skies, you can see a similarity. The Target Lists are divided into four "Chapters." Chapter 1: July 1943 th June 1944. All groups. Chapter 2: July 1944 th May (8th) 1945. 98th Bomb Wing (B-26). Chapter 3: July 1944 th May (8th) 1945. 99th Bomb Wing (B-26/A-26). Chapter 4: July 1944 th May (8th) 1945. 97th Bomb Wing (A-20/A-26). Ch 1 and 2 is in the Core Game. Ch 3 may also be included. The theme for May’s #boardGameLingo is Multiplayer Solitaire, chosen by yours truly! I really debated whether I should choose Hadrian’s Wall for this since I chose it last month for CRUNCHY but it just fits so perfectly! In Hadrian’s Wall, each player busily fills out their little squares while they basically ignore the other person. Like many other multiplayer solitaire games, Hadrian’s Wall has an excellent solo mode that is more or less the same as the multiplayer mode. The enjoyment of the game comes from building your engine and trying to optimize the plays on your particular board. I’m a huge fan of playing alongside another person without direct interaction so I don’t find multiplayer solitaire to be a negative term. It is, however, used as a negative by many game reviewers. I just prefer being able to play ahead without worrying that someone will swoop in and destroy my creation! Do you enjoy multiplayer solitaire games? 🎲 Games Played in April 🎲 🧩 April saw a lot of new games hitting the table and some heavy ones making a lot of rotations, let’s take a look ▶️ 🧩 The 2 hitters were John Company and Voidfall! These 2 behemoths are complex and take up the whole table but so good! I’ve been playing them a lot solo and managed to finally teach them to my friends and they were a blast! 🧩 Some other great new games were Anachrony, Moonrakers, Books of Time and Mythic Mischief. I got some old familiars back out like Pax Pamir, The Witcher: Old World and Viking Raiders which were great for higher player counts in my group! 🧩 Fractured Sky was a big hit for me and my play group. What did you play this month? At the start of the month we thought that our grid would just end up featuring two games, Wyrmspan and Harmonies, which we played a LOT! It was great getting the chance to explore these games in more detail and the more we play, the more we enjoy! We also managed the epic feat this month of clearing our shelf of shame! Terra Mystica had been sitting on the shelves, unplayed, for about 18 months, and we made it our goal this month to finally get it to the table. While we don't know how long the empty shelf will last it's nice to have the pressure off for a little while at least. A few old favourites have hit the table, including a couple of larger games that had been too long between plays. Stone Age and Agricola are both great fun and we need to get them out more, if only so we can remember how to play! Was experimenting with printing some new filaments including a "wood" one. This was to try making a Lost Ruins of Arnak Deluxe Insert set found from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4740139 that had colors suitable for the theme. It turns out that this "wood" filament was hard to print with, as you can see in the pictures I had some failed prints before I got all the settings dialed in. There was a lot of stringing and some issues with the base layer failing before I got the temperatures and speeds sorted out. Oh boy! Every now and a then a new game blows my mind. And this weekend that happened big time. Ecolapse is from a first time designer, Steve Eggleston; and he has created a master piece. Playing my first game with my son on the weekend, we both said mid way through, “this game is good isn’t it. Very good.” You sometimes get a n early feel that something will be special. And it’s awesome with a game like this that I knew almost nothing about before trying it. We immediately played again and again after, and had an absolute blast. The game just got better and better as we learnt the strategy. In short, the games feels, and this will sound weird, like a mix between Viticulture and Scythe. Like Viticulture, you have workers, called Zealots, with whom you can carry out actions by placing them on your player board. These action become more powerful as you develop your tech tree. And you can get extra one round only workers by doing certain actions. Like Scythe you are moving around a hex board, using mechs to fight, building Refuges (the main way to win the game) and collecting resources. There are so many choices each turn. The order you do things is crucial. And building up a long term strategy is the only way to do well. It captivates you from turn one and is a genuine thrill throughout. I really hope it gets picked up by the right publisher. This game deserves some love to get it ready for mass release. I don’t score previews. It’s not fair when the game isn’t done. How We Roll Wednesday #howwerollwednesday to celebrate dice games, which was created by @buryboardgames and this week the theme was Dice Goblins which was picked by thegamecupboard (Next week it is Biggest & Smallest Dice which was picked by @het_spelletjeskabinet ). I learnt that Dice Goblins refers to people who hoard dice and have too many dice (is this really a thing, as in can you have too many dice?). However when I learnt of the theme, my immediate thought was of Tiny Epic Quest which has dice with a goblin image on it. Shimota Publisher: @mooncrabgames.official Leviathan Wilds is one of the few games I’ve gotten to the table almost immediately after receiving it. I was THAT excited to play it. It was one of those “insta-back” games I saw on #kickstarter, mostly due to the cooperative element and incredible artwork. This is a boss-battling game, where players control characters climbing gigantic leviathan monsters with a goal of saving them rather than killing them. The game comes with a boom of 17 leviathans—each with their own set of rules and deck of cards. Players choose a character set and class set and then combine the sets to form a deck. In order to win, climbers must remove all of the binding crystals from the leviathan and resolve any scenario conditions. There is clearly a lot I’m leaving out in regards to gameplay. I don’t think the game is necessarily hard to play, but if felt like I was looking in the rulebook a lot looking for key words (player aid, please!). That will likely (hopefully!!) change with more plays. My first play was both fun and frustrating. There is definitely a good game here, and I am eager to see how I feel after a few more plays. 🪐👩🚀 Moonrakers @iv___games 🚀🛰 Got to try a bit of Moonrakers the other day! We weren't able to finish a complete game, so need to give this one another try, but there were some interesting deck building aspects here. 👀 I'll have to see if this one speeds up with more plays as it dragged a bit for us. We also played at two, which was a suboptimal player count. I could see this one being a lot better at 3+ with the added negotiation. And upon my initial play, that's what definitely intrigued me the most ... being able to, in a sense, auction off rewards to potential allies is pretty neat. 👌 Will give a full review when time allows! ⏳️

[gamescon] 3k6 Festiwal. Z here guys! 3k6 Festiwal in Poland was over a weekend ago on 20-21st of April but it is still engraved in my memory. I've had a nice road trip with my friends to present our games on this gamescon event in Lublin, Polska. I was kindly invited last year by my colleague Daniel to present my game @eyeofzamrock coming to Gamefound in a week. It came as no surprise to be invited this year as well. I was here as well to represent @serbian_tabletop_guild with @dazboggames Just like a fellow game maker from Thistroy Games said, coming to these events is a great reminder why you make games in the first place. (their tables were always filled with players btw) It was a short event, maybe less crowded than last year, but the warmth and enthusiasm of all the people there is enchanting and contagious. And of course, I hope to come again next year and bring Ana as well. Why should she miss on the fun? My best moments and take-aways from the 3k6 were: -Meeting my grandma and aunt and renewing my polish. -@3k6kolektyw event itself. It was pumping with positive energy. -Having playtasted with @brodatyboardgames and his friends. -Meeting @o0madziora0o -For almost an hour showing the game to two guys who had asked me about the game to the finest details who had their wives waited in the playing area and called in threatening to come over. -Bought me some cool games like Micro Architects (@thirstroygames), Ready, Set, Bet (by John D. Clair) in Polish (Poszły konie), Mille Fiori (by Knizia), find your own ending book - Alice in Wonderland (cool horror-like adventure). -Visiting our favorite bar Just Crafted owned by my friend Alexey, creator of Ave, Leo! Shout out to @alkhwarizmi games. ☺️ -Traveling through the countryside and enjoying the greenery, seeing some wildlife and beautiful buildings along the way. -Visiting Balasz in Érd close to Budapest (Hungary) to get my copy of @legacy_of_thracks_board_game -When I came home a reviewer's copy of Celulose from @gotgeniusgames was waiting for me! I'm very grateful and happy to participate in all the gaming conventions as they bring serious people with fun in mind together.😃
My painted Church Giants for Bloodborne the boardgame! These guys are slow heavy hitters in Bloodborne. I painted these using a slap-chop priming method, so a black to white drybrush gradient was built up prior to using contrast paints. Another old favourite got to the table but as we didn't have a huge amount of spare time it was just the base game of Carcassonne with the river. This game never fails to deliver. This is such a great game and is probably one of the games that introduced tile laying to us. This is one of our favourite mechanisms and when combined with polyominos makes it even better.
