So my son, my little boy, the best advice I can give to you on being a father is this. Don’t blink. Don’t wait. Don’t miss out. If the lawn needs mowed and Reece wants you to push him on the swing, let the grass grow. When he asks you to read him just one more bedtime story, read him two. When he is tired of walking and wants daddy to carry him, pick him up and hold him tight while he is still tiny enough to fit in your arms. When he wants you to snuggle on the couch and watch his favorite “10” movies for the millionth time, watch it like you’ve never seen it before. When he wants to sing Hakuna Matata as loud as it goes and dance, turn the volume all the way up and shake that butt. When he wants you to blow a million bubbles, buy a bubble machine 👌🏼🤣 Never forget that time goes by so damn fast. Lincoln was not feeling well this evening so we picked him up to help take care of him. When we got home it was clear he has a stomach virus. After showering, putting a heating pad on his tummy and trying to keep him hydrated, he looks up and said "Thank You for making me feel better Grandma"! I sure did cry......
