Last Friday, we called a wrap on another photoshoot with @chloeuptonstudio and our fabulous model @ruthmoss_ ! 📷 We set off for the day, driven by my partner Tom, who we now fondly refer to as “The Runner” in his newly converted “wagon” which doubled up perfectly as a mobile dressing room for Ruth! 👌 As we’ve done before, we headed to Clifton Village for our shoot – it just seems the perfect choice with so many independent shops with the most gorgeous shop fronts – they’ve got used to us now and were only too happy to let us use their stores as backdrops for our shots. It’s also not too far from home – handy when you’ve forgotten something – even though I pack like I’m going on a long expedition where I have to prepare for every eventuality or emergency! 😁 We always make a beeline for our favourite shop, @lisaelliottfloraldesign - we seem to get the best shots outside their shop! They made us a bouquet of the most beautiful flowers, especially for our shots! We were blown away by this kind gesture – thank you so much! ❤💐 Chloe makes it all look so effortless but she puts so much work into planning for a shoot - weeks of thinking time, organising, lots of lists, liaising, outfit choosing and then hourly weather checks for at least a week before the shoot date! 😂 Given the time of year, we got pretty lucky with the weather and only had to seek shelter from a couple of showers before the sun came out again! 😎 We had a couple of lost and found moments – Ruth was reunited with her lost sunglasses, which she had put in her shoe for safekeeping, and this morning, I finally found my coat, which I had stuffed into a pocket in the shoot bag!
