Una pianta da interno originaria del Sud-America, molto difficile da coltivare che presenta un particolare che adoro sulle foglie, ovvero la trama vellutata. Is it Spring? . Boom 🪴 I knew these roots were out of control the day I got this beauty. But I try to give all my plant babies a few weeks to acclimate to my home after being jostled around through the postal service. . To say she is root bound is an understatement 🥴 I’m hoping by going up to a 6” from a 4” nursery pot will help her stay a bit more hydrated. She is still poppin new leaves, so we will see how fast she continues to grow with more room. . This is my most velvety plant. Calathea . Love em or Hate em? . @plantasticdirect had the one I was looking for. The leaves on this beauty are incredibly soft. It is the craziest velvety feel 🫶🏼 . I found that all my calatheas prefer to be in the kitchen nook area. Not sure if it’s the light, the temp, or the extra humidity from all the cooking (my husband does the cooking 😉). . My only catastrophe so far has been my Maranta Red Prayer plant. That B@*h unalived herself. I tried everything but she was never happy. The only difference was that I did not keep her in the kitchen 🤔 . I’m sure that won’t help because I have no idea why my kitchen is the “perfect” set up for my Freddie White Fusion Grey Star Stromanthe Triostar Variegated Maranta But they are all thriving 😄 . Éstas son 2 de sus hojas más nuevas. Todas las calatheas que tengo, incluida ésta y con excepción de la Calathea Makoyana, están en invernadero, todas en un eterno estado de reiniciación y siento que no las disfruto como quisiera. Не относила себя к любителям калатей, пока не посчитала их количество у меня дома🙈😂 Зебрина, Варшевича, лансефолия, пин страйп, Вайт стар, макояна, Вайт фьюжн. СЕМЬ! И в целом это те сорта, которые мне очень нравятся, больше из калатей пока никого не хочу. Калатеи традиционно считаются истеричками и не самыми простыми растениями. Потому что их красивые листья сразу реагируют на все ошибки в уходе. 1. Влажность (грунта и воздуха). Грунт не должен просыхать полностью. Не болото, но и чуть сухой верхний слой - уже поливаем! Кстати, от залива - традиционные желто-коричневые пятна. От сухого воздуха у растения образуются "погремушки" сухие края листа, которые очень шеборшат и бесят 😂 Можно поставить рядом с увлажнителем, можно на поддон с мокрым мхом или керамзитом. Батареи зимой - главная причина, ее либо выключить, либо накрыть чем-то можно. 2. Свет. На ярком прямом солнечном свете горят, сворачивают листья. Зимой ещё можно поставить на подоконник, но летом лучше убрать чуть вглубь комнаты (метро-полтора). 3. Грунт - тут в целом без изысков, можно в грунт кокочипсы и мелкий мох замешать, чтоб дольше просыхал. 4. Вредители👹👹👹 дааа, их обожают клещи и трипсы. Многие рекомендуют калатеи как маячки держать, чтоб по ним определять есть ли дома паразиты. Регулярный теплый душ, осмотр и уборка всего старого и сухого слегка помогут. И мой личный рейтинг истеричности от самой лёгкой степени: макоя, пин страйп, лансефолия, Вайт стар, Вайт фьюжн, зебрина, Варшевича.
