Also, from the same source are hand-wound decorative rope. Good enough to earn two warrants from Windsor Castle, so likely good enough for you. Sold very affordably by the metre. One of my treasures getting a proper display thanks to this weekend’s Projekt26 poster pop-up in Copeland Gallery, Peckham. It’s a Soviet-era (1957) film called ‘When The Nightingales Sing’. The poster is gorgeous: 65x100 cm. The artist is a prolific designer of the period: Zelenski. Come today or tomorrow to see! Sat: 10-6.00pm; Sunday: 11-5.00pm. Here’s a typically beautiful seascape by Rowell Tyson (1926-2008) currently on sale at Room12a in Holdrons Arcade, 135a Rye Lane, SE15 4ST. It is very characteristic of his work, featuring as it does a small ship in an immensity of sea and sky. It is also an excuse to bang the drum for the market I was a part of this weekend just gone in Stoke Newington: one of the Hackney Flea markets.
