Hi! Did ya miss me?! Wondering why these updates are less than normal? Because I got THINGS TO DO and PLACES TO SEE!!!!! No time for typing on a phone! BOOOOORING. Foster mom is thankful I joined her just as the warmth was coming out and not in the middle of winter because I need my playtime!!!! I need to run! If I don’t I’m uh…. Not the besttttt indoors. Yesterday foster mom took me to Christie Pits park! I was very interested in all the dogs and REALLY wanted to play frisbee with the other dogs. Foster mom made it up to me by finding sticks to throw for me. I made some new friends (human variety) and they loved me! But they did tell me I was rude to use my teeth to greet. Apparently people don’t like finger nibbles? I thought foster mom was the only one who didn’t like it!! Ughhh. I had an adventure with my friend Twiney and we had a GREAT time! Except for a moment when I got a litttllle over excited and again…. Used my teeth to show it. I guess I’ll have to work on that, eh? Luckily I am very obedient and do stop as soon as humans interrupt. I’m just a pup!!! I’m a little socially awkward! Ps I hope you enjoy this pic of foster mom and I! We ❤️ each other.

Yesterday marks 3 years since this sweet dog was dropped into my lap. Literally. I was sitting on the floor feeding Ginger’s brother (the puppy I chose no more than 10 minutes prior to gift to my new friends). The Costa Rican pre-teen came back and asked if she could take him and give me another dog. She dropped her right into my lap. She was in rough-ish shape but I knew she was going to be well taken care of after I left the following day. After a 30 minute bike ride (in the dark) with my local friend holding Ginger in his right hand/arm, we arrived to present the puppy to my friends. They were not in a place for a puppy at the time... and the rest is history. She was always supposed to be mine and I hers. Today marks 3 years since my first attempt to bring her home on my regularly scheduled flight. Turns out I needed a couple days to get the paper work in order. So, I canceled my flight and stayed with her a week longer. #GingerTicaPlayaChiquita, you are my sunshine. That Costa Rican sun gave you your name as it shined down on your bright red eyelashes. You’re a Ginger! Tica (female) is a colloquial term that Costa Rican’s gave themselves. Playa Chiquita was across the street from where I found you. You were either born in the jungle 🌿 or on the beach 🏝 Either way, you’re a lover of life. Love being free OFF LEASH in the woods with your pack running fast with your ears flopping in the wind. 🐾This is my precious boy @nico_the_tiko that we rescued in Costa Rica in 2015. He is one of the bright lights in my life!
