Some princesses are worth melting for 💙❄️👑 I couldn’t let the 10th anniversary of Frozen pass by without saying how near and dear these movies are to my heart, especially princess Anna. I’ve been volunteering as a costumed performer for five years now, and of all the characters I’ve befriended, Anna is by far my favorite. She’s goofy and a bit awkward at times, but the way she connects with the community is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. I will never get tired of seeing kids’ faces light up when they talk to Anna, and all the warm hugs will never get old either. Congenital Heart Walk ❤️ 9 of every 1,000 babies born in the US have congenital heart defects. 25% of babies born with it will need to go through surgeries and other interventions to survive it. It can be very tough on family members and children to go through. On Saturday, I got to meet many lovely, strong children and adults battling this fight. And I hope they all know they're not alone in it. I heard from survivors, moms of kids with it, doctors, and it was all so touching.
