When I started focusing on rock and metal drumming, double bass drumming was a major challenge for me. 𝐈 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐜𝐤 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝟏𝟑𝟎 𝐛𝐩𝐦 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐲 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬. It was extremely frustrating and almost made me quit drumming altogether. I still remember feeling anxious before every practice session because I didn't want to fail again. I also remember being sent home from my first Belphegor audition... Because my foot technique wasn't good enough. However, I didn't give up. Instead, I practiced tirelessly to improve my double bass drumming skills. Over time, 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐝𝐫𝐮𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐞 𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐦𝐲 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐫. 文 2024/04/27 《浮光樂影-音樂會邀請》 - 2024臺南國際音樂節 TAINAN INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FESTIVAL _ 該來打一點感想了 第一次跟Koswing Big Band出去演出！ 大四的時候才開始有點接觸爵士樂，那個時候知道台南有Koswing這個地方，曾經去參加過一次樹葉老師的拉丁課程（發現新大陸！ 兩年前我辦了第一場獨奏會，最後一首曲目放了caravan，有三位Koswing的超厲害前輩來幫忙我，讓我順利完成！ 就是我的偶像學姐Fanny、凱麟老師還有鍾成老師🙇🏻 所以去年底開始到Koswing團練的時候，根本既興奮又緊張到不行，因為覺得自己還是爵士小菜鳥，然後要跟那麼多大咖一起團練，超怕雷到大家 我每次團練都超級焦慮，在鼓室練習的成果，團練時一定剩下不到一半 還好團長跟前輩們都已經太和藹 第一次去Koswing團員招募的時候，Kos就有跟我們說，一開始進來 如果演奏的東西有問題，他通常就會一直練那樣樂器，但是沒有關係，因為大家都是這樣過來的，所以都可以包容，也希望我們未來也可以包容以後進來的人 我那時候覺得好溫馨 實際上團練 還是緊張到一個不行🥹 我一開始都會很認真看這禮拜要練什麼的曲目表單去練習，結果我有練的，團練一定不會練到，要上的永遠都是沒練到的或者團練前5分鐘才放上去的😂😂 超賽！！（超級賽 亞人…… 大概就是可以看我選哪幾首要練，然後就 不要練那幾首。 曲子完成到一個程度還會錄音，錄音是最令我焦慮的事情，因為團長回去聽完，下一次會公審🥹 其實團長真的不會兇，而且人很好，但我就是會很焦慮 還好有祈均學長大大前輩🙇🏻🙇🏻 他每一次也都覺得很好笑（我的莫非定律 （大概就是 以前在學校讀書的時候當個努力的學生還有一點用處，現在出社會 努力，不一定有人要鳥你😢 但學長都會很罩，我們還沒準備好的曲子，他都會先carry我們，學長每次在打，我都在旁邊趕快學（大師班 然後很多打法上的問題請教學長，他也都會給我們建議 已經人太好😻 _ 那天去演出，沿路先去載了我的偶像學姐Fanny，在沿路去載凱麟老師 一早就有兩個偶像在我的車上，圓滿 後來開了有點遠到了鹽水 永成戲院好漂亮，裡面的木頭味好香 彩排的時候依然很焦慮 中午跟Fanny去吃了鹽水意麵，還有很厲害的咖啡，超級療癒❤️ 上台的時候有一點焦慮 但因為我本身是上台型樂手，所以上台的狀況通常一定比練習時好上兩倍，鬆一口氣 演出完鬆了更大一口氣 但也很開心！ 太開心了 然後要回程的時候 我把車鑰匙放在包包，把門關上 門鎖起來 …… 那時候感覺就是慘了 結果超多人！真的超多！大前輩！都來幫我想辦法，跟我說沒關係！！ 用盡了辦法 後來發現是venue的bug 大概10分鐘 就被凱麟老師破解了 神🥹 然後我是真的很感動，大家可以回家，結果都圍過來一起想辦法，有夠溫馨❤️ 回台南之後 又跟Fanny去逛街約會、吃飯 就這樣度過了充實的一天😍 _ 總之還是要很感謝Kos跟祈均學長平常團練的指點跟照顧🙇🏻🙇🏻🙇🏻 _ #jazz #jazzband #jazzmusic #jazzmusician #jazzclub #jazzfusion #jazzlover #jazzy #jazzlife #drum #drums #drummer #drumming #drumstagram #drumset #drumlife #drumsticks #jazzdrums #jazzdrummer #snaredrum #hihat #tomtom #floortom #drumpedal #drumkit #ridecymbal #crashcymbal #cowballs #bongoball #人生不能沒有爵士
