Round 1 of the Australian Championship ✔️🇦🇺 Race 2: I got a great start which put me in 6th, but unfortunately I wasn’t able to hold that for the rest of the race and I finished 7th. Race 3: Sadly, I couldn’t get out of the pits on time and I had to start the race from the pit line at the back of the grid. It was hard to come back but still managed to get 9th. Prior in race 1 - we had flat spot our tyres so managing the remaining set was a challenge and great learning experience. Overall it was an experience and I got to learn again from each race which was a positive! - - 2024 SEASON PREVIEW - F4 AUSTRALIA @f4_aus - This weekend, F4 Australia will be celebrating its comeback at The Bend Motorsport Park after a four-year break. The series is now being organized and promoted by TopSpeed. - TEAMS & DRIVERS 🏎👥 - 10 drivers tackle the first weekend of the season. AGI Sport will be competing with three drivers. James Piszcyk competed in British F4 last year, finishing fifth with two wins and two more podium finishes. Teammate Nicolas Stati also won an F4 race in Sepang last year in F4 SEA. The AGI team is completed by rookie Seth Gilmore. The Formula Race Academy team will start with Mark Wilson, Nathan Gotch and Nicholas Filipetto in the Masters Class, as well as with rookie driver Joanne Ciconte. The third and final team in the line-up for round one is Jam Motorsport, which will line up alongside Masters Class driver John Paul Drake with Sebastien Amadio and Blake Purdie. - CALENDAR 🗓 - 15 races spread over five weekends on four different race tracks are on the program this year. After the first two rounds at The Bend Motorsport Park, the action moves to Queensland Raceway and Sydney Motorsport Park. Welcome to @joanneciconteracing, who will be racing with @timmacrowracing in the upcoming 2024 season! In what will be her first full season in an open wheel car, Ciconte will be running a collaborative effort between the Australian team and highly esteemed international squad, @m2_competition. The 15-year-old will enter her debut season with a solid amount of experience behind the wheel, highlighted by her selection for the exclusive FIA Girls on Track Rising Stars Program finale at the famous Fiorano Circuit last year. Just missing out on selection on a position at the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy for 2024, Ciconte spent the off season completing a rigorous training program, which consisted of simulator sessions and testing in one of the team’s Mygale M14-F4s. Having also enjoyed a successful karting career, Ciconte made her official Formula 4 racing debut earlier this year as part of the Giti Australian Formula Open at the Shannons SpeedSeries’ Race Sandown, where she finished second for the round overall. #F4Aus

Formula 4 Australian Championship, @motorsport.australia and @topspeedltd are pleased to announce that the top 5 in the Championship of Formula 4 Australia after Round 3 in Queensland will have automatic selection to take part in the @ferraridriveracademy selection camp at @sepangcircuit 17 -19 September. The re-launch of Formula 4 in Australia also gives young drivers a way to compete and contest in an FIA-certified open wheel category in Australia, with four rounds in the country and a season finale also at Sepang International Circuit, a Category 1 former Formula 1 track. This also allows racers the chance to earn FIA super license points, 12 for the winner, and have an even easier way to transition to competition overseas in a most cost-effective manner, with the same Tatuus F4 T421 GEN2 used internationally. It’s been too long! But finally it’s race week and all focus is on the double round at Winton this weekend with the Shannons Nationals. After some testing we are confident that we have fined tuned the car enough and that we will be at the pointy end come the weekend. #f4 #f4aus #78
A pretty good way to wrap up the Jayco Australia Formula 4 Championship. Very happy to have made huge progress during the weekend after qualifying P3 and then finishing in P4 for a wet Race 1. Unfortunately in Race 2 my race was ended by turn 3 after taking a hit to the left rear wheel and braking an upright causing me to retire from the race. On Sunday we went into the last race confident that we had some pace. After many hard fights we came home taking a pleasing P5. It has been a great year working with @teambrm and @bsport_ in the F4 championship. Can’t wait till next year hopefully with some success after having a huge learning year this year. #f4aus #f4 #VASC
