[so blame them—especially michelle + scott—if there any bands on my list you detest!] but vinnie vincent invasion i found all on my own. im not sure from where… or from whom… but i dont recall any of my conventional musical outlets liking or offering this brand of glammy tea to me. [maybe scott did. maybe.] finding a band all on my own was quite a victory with so many other surrounding active radars incessantly listening for new music. the first vinnie vincent invasion album was my jam when i first started driving in my senior year of high school. to this day… michelle still mimics how i would dance my fingertips over the steering wheel like it was a fret board… traipsing them like little animals at the same part of [boys are gonna rock] every damn time. OCD much? that album—damn!—i loved it. + even though i would rather eat a bag of glass than admit i was a kiss fan… being a fangirl for vinnie was okay. it was a much heavier side hustle… completely unrelated to gene + paul. so it was all good. that whole first album… [twisted]… [animal]… [shoot u full of love]… [do you wanna make love]… + all those ridiculously fast guitar solos that screamed + screeched in every metallic morsel helped me cope through intense bouts of senioritis. even the sophomore effort—[all systems go]—rocked just as hard as its predecessor… solidifying my seat on the VVI train. thank you to high-pitched metal god vocal replacement mark slaughter… with shredders like [heavy pettin] + [ashes to ashes] + [dirty rhythm]… + even [love kills] which was an obvious departure for VVI in its calmer + quieter + softer approach… but still a great effin metal gem. thank you @vinnievincentofficial #markslaughter #metalicons #boysaregonnarock #rockmusic

She’s clairvoyant and can talk to dead people. Her whole ethos is love and wants to spread the message that our loved ones may pass on from this life but their souls are eternal. I never knew I could channel until I was in my early 20’s. I learned I could communicate with the dead several years after my dad died.
