We redesigned our class curriculum to be more beginner-friendly and had a blast facilitating our first class session of Chapter 1: Intro to Storytelling. We are so excited for our next classes starting April 30 (one spot left) and August 24! We know (both personally and professionally) that story sharing and public speaking can be intimidating and vulnerable. Thus, we put great care and intentionality into creating a space that is supportive, educational, and *most importantly* fun. One of our Chapter 1 students, Taylor said: “My favorite part of the class was the connections I formed with the other participants. I really loved the structure of the class - learning and then putting skills into practice - and the chance to invest two hours a week into reflection and sharing with others. An examination of the evolution of mathematical practices reveals that accepted accounts of the great cognitive shift might not add up.
