📚 Die Kunst des digitalen Lebens 🚀 Wie du auf Nachrichten verzichtest und die Informationsflut meisterst ❓"Woher nimmst du die Zeit, so viele Bücher 📒 zu lesen?", fragte mich Aline am vorletzten Trainingsabend des Entfaltungstrainings. Bis vor etwa 8 Jahren wollte ich Bücher lesen, aber ich schaffte es nicht. Anderes hatte immer mehr Priorität. Und wenn ich dann ein Buch hervorgeholt habe, bin ich nach 10 Minuten eingeschlafen 😴. Während einer Unterrichtsstunde brachte mich ein Student auf die Idee, Bücher zu hören und nicht zu lesen. Geniale Idee 🧨! Noch am selben Abend habe ich ein Abo bei Audible gekauft. Seit diesem Tag höre ich monatlich etwa 20 Stunden Bücher. Beispiele: ✅ Während der Autofahrt, anstelle von Radio oder Musik ✅ Während der Zugfahrt ✅ Wenn ich zur Arbeit laufe ✅ Wenn ich alleine spazieren gehe ✅ usw. Was hat das mit diesem Buch zu tun? Ziemlich viel – Seit diesem Tag höre ich nämlich keine Nachrichten mehr und investiere meine Zeit in sinnvolle Literatur. Die Gedankenanstöße von Rolf Dobelli sind bei mir auf fruchtbaren Boden gefallen 🌻. Hör deinen Mitarbeitern zu und du erfährst meist auch ohne Mikrokontrolle, wie es läuft. ▶ Statt Details vorzugeben lieber die Aufgaben „high-level“ definieren und die Gestaltung der Details den Mitarbeitern überlassen. Je nach Erfahrungsgrad des Mitarbeiters darfst du natürlich mehr oder weniger Unterstützung anbieten. ▶ Nicht sagen, WIE die Aufgabe erfüllt werden soll, sondern WAS gemacht werden soll. Der Mitarbeiter kann so mitdenken, wie er die Aufgabe im Detail erledigt. Dabei wird er selbständiger und motivierter. ▶ Wer kein Vertrauen zeigt, dem wird auch vom Team kein Vertrauen entgegengebracht. Wenn du Vertrauen schenkst, stärkt du dagegen das Verantwortungsgefühl und die Zufriedenheit des Mitarbeiters. Mikromanagement und engmaschige Kontrolle zeichnen einen Vorgesetzten aus, der eher „managt“ als „führt“. Ein Leader baut dagegen ein verantwortliches Team auf, das selbständig arbeitet und keine Detailkontrolle benötigt. Address the societal-wide issue facing parents – that of the mismatch in timetables between adults and children – and do more to align work with school hours where possible. 2. My little helper | 🏃🏽♂️ My eldest Tyson been hassling me for weeks to come down to @boxhill_runclub & last night before he went to sleep, he made me promise him that I would wake him up to come. One thing that stuck with me all night is just before he went to sleep he said to me: “I want to be a leader like you.” Man, that melted me & reminded me of just how much kids look up to their parents. As a father my job is to be the best role model for my children. We got up nice & early, only problem was that he wanted his “pink” leader shirt which I told him I would have to order him a special kids size because daddy’s wouldn’t fit him. Today, my son stood by my side the entire morning with the biggest smile on his face.
