I forgot to post mine and Finn's (first) 5k race from Saturday. We did the #aikentrailblazer 5k. It was amazing. All except that last mile... sand at a steady incline. 🤣 We did an 11 minute first mile, a 10:30 second mile.... and mile three was a 14:50. 🤣 For his first race, he did phenomenal. I'm so proud of him! Go check out some of the race videos on the page I made for him @finn_thespoiledhusky... He passed without much interaction. But he did not like anyone passing us. He's very competitive. He's going to be an amazing race companion. We had several other canicross friends there, which made for an amazing time. Yesterday was amazing. I spent the whole day with Mom running errands. We went and smelled flowers at Lowes. She took me to an awful place and bathed me. But I might say I feel very handsome now. We went and had a hot dog at the burger joint. And then we went and walked by the river for a few hours. I had a freak out today. Mom took @vada_thehusky on an adventure and left me home all alone, in my box. I was so upset. I tried to paw my way out to find them so I could come too. We got out on the kayaks today. Boyyyyy did Vada want to hop in and go over to Derek's yak with Finn. And Finn whined when we got too far away. 🤣 Needless to say, loooooots more work with them before we go OUT on the kayaks. Finn actually did really well with laying down and staying put until some little girls showed up and were fishing with either their dad or grandpa. They did enjoy being able to go swimming, though. Finn went to the vet a week early yesterday. He has shots set up for next week. Well, the poor guy has been having diarrhea for four days, and mom was worried.
