So my photographer friends always tell me I am crazy for specializing in newborn photography. They say it scares them or that they don’t have the patience for it. Is it easy? Nope. Do the sessions take a long time? Yup. Does it require specialized training and resources? Absolutely it does! Is it worth it? 1,000% yes! I have worked extremely hard to learn the art of newborn photography so that I can safely capture beautiful memories of this fleeting time for my clients. I am incredibly patient and never rush newborn sessions. I intentionally only book one newborn session per day so that I can give my full attention and creative energy to each newborn session. Today is my 2 year anniversary of relocating here in Hendersonville, NC. My boys and I moved from Virginia on this day and it coincidentally on May 7th-Mother’s Day in 2022. I was going through some challenges in my personal life and I decided I need to be closer to my mother and my boys missed their grandmother so much. She is pretty much their second mother because she is always there supporting me and helping me with my children no matter what. My mother is always telling me to never give up and chase my dream as a photographer. So here I am, thanks to my momma. My boys are very attached to me as well and I do embrace their attachment towards me because I know how good it feels to cuddle with your mom. I decided to post these images of this gorgeous family and their children embracing their mother because it really represents the relationship of a mother and her family. I haven’t had a lot of time to do any personal, creative photography over the last couple of years. It’s graduation season! This fun grad photo session took me to one of my favorite and frequently visited places, Biltmore Estate. Andrew just finished up his culinary internship at Biltmore, and opted to have his photos taken there. Hello there! I wanted to reintroduce myself to anyone who is new here. In the past month I’ve had so many new followers and I’m so blessed and thankful that you’re here. Allow me to tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Jacqueline but I prefer to go by Jackie. I’m a mother of 3 boys, all ages 7 and under. I was a pastors daughter most of my life and I’m bilingual, so I speak both English and Spanish fluently. I have a degree in Criminal Justice but I always did freelance photography during school and most of my initial motherhood career. In 2022, my boys and I relocated from Northern VA to Hendersonville, NC. In Fall of 2022 I decided that photography would no longer be a freelance thing, so I took a leap of faith and began my business. I have loved every minute and every client I’ve met since and I look forward to everyone else I’ll meet in the upcoming future. I currently own a studio in Hendersonville, NC and it includes a client wardrobe for women, young children and infants. I will soon be adding clothing for husbands!
