I’ve been seeking out the little details in a way that feels artistic all my life, and I’m so excited and humbled to be able to offer that to other people every once in awhile. From portraiture, love and family photos, maternity, newborn memories, and motherhood sessions, I know investing in preserving your life’s story in a way that feels true and representative of you is not to be taken lightly. These photos mean so much, both in the moment and as time slips away with us. When selecting a photographer to capture these big “little” moments, it’s important to know what you are paying for — your photographer’s camera skill and artistic eye, their editing style, and their personal beliefs on “perfecting” a picture’s perceived flaws. As an artist, when I look at my favorite photos, I see an honest reflection of life’s most ordinary beautiful instances documented with intention and purpose and intertwined alongside a creative expression of those very real feelings. They evoke nostalgia and emotion and are never forced, contrived, or manufactured. This is your authentic life, playing out in front of a camera, and that alone is so special. It’s up to me as your photographer to create something unique, artistically sound, and true. And for me, that’s all in the tiniest details.
