I... finally panned a ND Palette!! Honestly this was such a long process. I'm not even sure when I got this palette, probably 3 or 4 years ago. I'm not surprised this pan is in a neutral palette because I have to pull off very subtle look during the week for my job. I use my shadows very softly and I don't usually have big dents into my shadows so to pan a shadow THAT IS NOT A BONE/SKIN COLOUR IS A LOT FOR ME 😭 This shadow is a Cream to Powder so of course the formulas is more fragile than the regular powders and gets used out more easily. I'm not even sure when and if I'll pan a big pan sized powder shadow! But I'll continue to use the Biba palette as much as I can (which realistically might be 3 or 4 times a month?). I used Tone as a transish and is very buildable so I created both saturated and muted looks with her. These shadows are such a breeze to work with. My next goal is to hit pan in Tor (also a CtP) which is alovely deep grey eyeshadow I love for liners. ✨Natasha Denona Rich Glam✨ When the Glam Palette launched I participated in an open collab to share my version of a Glam Palette. My next focus palette will be a spin-off of that "My Glam" Palette. So I've recently been thinking about that palette and by association I was also thinking about the Natasha Denona Glam Palette. So one day the concept of "Rich Glam" came into my mind: a dark sister to the original Glam Palette. I looked through @temptalia's swatches to select neutrals with slightly different undertones that aren't too light, but still offered a range in depth. I didn't look at the original Glam color scheme until I had decided on a color story. I also arranged the shades so they would look nice in the palette, so the shade names don't match at all. Hopefully, if Natasha ever does a deep version of Glam she'll ditch the naming convention of the original Glam palette. I ended up with two Natasha Denona shades in this palette: Spectrum from the the Star Palette and Suntan from the Bronze Palette (and of course I could have chosen Blackest Black from My Dream as the matte black). I’ve been waiting for this @narsissist Afterglow Irresistible eyeshadow palette to drop in the U.K. for ages! And now that it’s here, well… 🫠 Let’s just say I’m slightly disappointed. There’s nothing wrong with the quality - you know I love Nars products, but! These colours look super warm on me and I find them to be too dark for my skin tone. Which means I can’t use it to create a complete eye look, and I need to reach for something with transition shades. I was intrigued by that name and decided to create two Midi Palettes based on it, a dark and a light version. On the last slide I compared my Rose&Wood Palettes to other Natasha Denona Palettes. all swatches by @temptalia (From top to bottom: Rose&Wood light, Rose&Wood dark, Retro Glam, Retro, Love, Yucca) There are some similar shades in Love and Retro. Palette of the day ABH Fall Romance So I don’t love this palette. I purchased this second hand, and honestly I don’t even think it’s worth the discounted price I paid. The mattes are okay, but definitely not as good as the other mattes I’ve tried from ABH. They blend decently but they feel dry and are honestly a little chalky. The shimmers also aren’t great. Gorgeous shade and usual quality product as expected. Ovo je opasno dobro sjenilo. Kad imaš izvrstan proizvod ne treba ti iskustvo, posebne tehnike apliciranja make up proizvoda, poseban pribor. Ne treba ti ništa osim tog dobrog proizvoda i tvojih prstiju. Ovo sjenilo je multidimenzionalne, metalik formule s kojom je lako raditi, a na kapku izgleda čarobno. Sjenilo ima pigmente zasićene bojama koji upijaju i reflektiraju svjetlost iz svih kutova čime kapci postanu živahno, upečatljivo sjajni. Ali onako luxe, ne kič sjajni. Sun Dip je prljava bronca, neopisiva nijansa u biti. Čak ni fotografija ne može “uhvatiti” svu njenu ljepotu. Vrlo profinjeno sjenilo koje očima daje neku posebnu čar. Na ovoj slici sam samo u jednom sloju prstom nanijela ovo sjenilo na gornji i donji kapak (bez primera, bez drugih sjenila), dodala malo maskare i gotov look za 2 minute. A nosim ga ponekad i kao toper na neko kremasto sjenilo, kombiniram s drugim nijansama, može se koristiti i kao mokro, pa se tako pojača intenzitet. Uglavnom jako često ga koristim i obožavam. Jedina mana mu je što je fakat jako skupo, ali ako će biti potrošeno onda nije skupo. A s obzirom koliko ga koristim kod mene će se potrošiti. New from Huda Beauty!!! The Warm and Cool Obsessions Coming Soon Both eyeshadow palettes contain only matte shadows. The duo of palettes include a cool toned matte mauve themed palette and a warm toned matte terracotta themed palette. The formulations are eyeshadows with matte powder and matte cream-to-powder finishes. Do you like the Huda Beauty Obsession palettes? I like them. Some are hit and miss, but overall, they're good quality. Do you prefer Huda's large holiday palettes also or instead of the Obsessions? Urban Decay Lovesick Vibes Palette I wanted to create a Valentine's Day mockup, but didn't have a particular brand in mind, so I looked at my previous mockups for inspiration. I previously created my perfect neutral-ish grungy color story with the Ruined Vibes Palette. I think the design of the Stoned Vibes palette is very aesthetic and recognizable, so it would be a good candidate for a series of palettes (instead of turning anything into a Naked Palette). While I went for grungy tones last time, that fit my preferences and UD's roots, I went with a more commercial pink, red & neutral color story to match UD's current vibe. It's a basic assortment of colors but in pretty packaging, which is really all you can ask for from UD these days. Coming in at number 10 for my top 25 palettes of 2022 we have the @natashadenona Retro Glam Palette. This palette got such mixed reviews, but 2022 was truly the year I fell madly in love with the Natasha Denona eyeshadow formula so I had to get this one…and I have zero regrets. No these are not bold, popping colors, but they are soft, beautiful colors that I think look absolutely stunning on the eyes. This has been one of my go-to everyday palettes because there are so many combinations you can do that look so flattering. You can go neutral or rosy or sage green or a combination of two or more. 💕Lisa Eldridge - Muse💕 Lisa (@lisaeldridgemakeup )es una maquilladora inglesa de sobra conocida en el mundo beauty que hace poco decidió lanzar en su marca de maquillaje 5 paletas de sombras de cuidada estética que me llamaron la atención. Más aún cuando vi a Reyes @themakeupstatement probarlas en varios reels. Una de ellas, la de tonos rosados, es Muse. 💫Consta de 6 sombras, 3 mates y 3 shimmer, de 4 acabados diferentes (velvet, lustre, metallic y luminous), muy compacta (cabe en la palma de la mano) y de un color dorado de aspecto lujoso (lo es, cuesta £49). Sus sombras son customizables y se pueden intercambiar e incluso comprar individualmente, lo cual es de agradecer. 💫La he probado una sola vez, por ahora, y la primera impresión ha sido que no me ha sorprendido mucho. Los tonos a primera vista son acertados pero el mate más oscuro carece de la intensidad que busco, los otros 2 mates al difuminarlos se funden en 1 solo tono y los shimmer son sutiles. Ella misma describe la paleta como de un tono 'washed pink' que sería un 'rosa aguado' así que quizá la intención es que la sutileza reine en sus paletas. He visto que las sombras mate están muy prensadas, sobre todo la marrón-berenjena, y quizá por eso el pincel no coge suficiente producto para crear intensidad. La seguiré probando! Coming in at number 21 in my top 25 palettes of 2023 is the @patmcgrathreal Mothership X: Moonlit Seduction Palette. This is a pretty neutral/ rosy toned palette that in my opinion is not really that different from Pat’s past few Mothership palettes, but the special shades in this palette are indeed very special. Pictures cannot do these shades justice…they are just soooooo shiny. I do however have to use a glitter glue for these blitz astrals which is an extra step in the routine I don’t love doing, but without it, my face literally looks like a disco ball with all the fallout.
