Before, during, and after re-pressing the @essence_cosmetics All About Nudes palette that kept getting messy. I combined the two deepest shades, so that's one less pan hit, but also one less shadow. I'm still counting the light and medium shades as if they have a pan hit, is that what you do when you re-press? . 🗑️April Empties🗑️ Man - I have been on a roll lately with empties this year! I have 8 empties to share this month, with 3 lip empties - 2 mini @lawless forget the filler lip glosses in rosy outlook and nudie, which unfortunately irritated the sides of my mouth a bit after using them several days in a row, but if I alternated days, then they were beautiful (4/5⭐️) and then the @milanicosmetics fruit fetish lip oil in strawberry fetish honestly reminded me of some type of candy from my childhood - I just wanted to eat it lol 😅- but I loved the nourishing, glossy, non-sticky finish (5/5⭐️) I also finished 2 blush samples this month - the @lauramercier tinted moisturizer blush in provence was so sheer that I literally don’t think it could be called a blush. I have fair skin, and it barely showed up on me, and where it did, it was patchy. (0/5⭐️) And then unfortunately, the @freck cheek slime was the opposite problem - it had SO MUCH PIGMENT and not enough base to blend into my cheeks that it felt like I was spreading literal slime. It ended up being okay mixed with a liquid highlighter, so I was able to make it work, but it was way too thick for me (1/5⭐️) I know the @elfcosmetics putty primers went viral when they first launched several years ago, but I’m beginning to lose my interest in silicone/blurring primers - I feel like they make my face a slip-n-slide rather than prolonging my makeup throughout the day. I think in terms of blurring, I would much rather have a setting powder than a primer (2/5⭐️) Speaking of viral - I finally tried the @lorealparis telescopic mascara, and y’all - it is THAT GOOD 👏 My lashes were so fluffy and full, not clumpy or smudgy at all! I will say I do get a bit of flaking if I got any product in my waterline, but other than that it was beautiful (5/5⭐️) And lastly, I finished the @maybelline 24H superstay skin tint and besides the fact that it is more of a full coverage foundation than a skin tint, it is STUNNING. I've been hiding an empty again... ✨️ And it's been a long time coming too 😂 I used up the contour shade in this face contouring set from Trend It Up! I bought it in 2016 or 2017, I believe, solely for the contour shade as there haven't been a ton of cool toned options in the drugstore for pale skin. It was during the time when crazy facesculpting was trendy thinking it would magically change the structure of my very round face. Lil old me did not understand that it's very hard to chisel a face that is shaped like the moon lol. I mostly used this on my doublechin after I fell in love with bronzer and the way warm tones looked on my face. I hit pan that way and even repressed it only to neglect it for quite some time 🫣 until it was time for my Choso cosplay where I needed all the cool tones I could possibly get and used this product more frequently again. The Inkey List Caffeine Eye Cream($11) 👎🏾 - the results from the eye cream with consistent use were minimal. It was not worth the extra step in my routine, not even basic hydration this provided. This was a huge disappointment considering I’ve loved the other products I tried from the Inkey List.

This is the @elfcosmetics Hydrating Gel Melt Cleanser. You already know how old this is based on the packaging. This is a milky white color and almost a moisturizer consistency. Several years ago I had really bad dry spots on my face and wasn't sure that anything could fix it. In came some research, a couple YouTube videos later and I discovered elf skincare. This helped my skin SO much! I absolutely love this melt cleanser because it truly does remove all of my base makeup, eyeshadow AND waterproof mascara without any tugging or pulling on my skin! I scoop a small size of it, massage into my skin and it gently removes my makeup. I rinse with warm water and I do have to go in with another makeup remover to fully clean off my face. (Which isn't a problem!) I don't have a usage goal, but this took me years to finish (on and off use) and I have two more backups so I'm good for awhile! [Panned: April 27, 2024] I'm so glad to be using up all the facial sprays I have because I really don't use them. Or really need them! This is the @essence_cosmetics @essencemakeup Hello, Good Stuff 3in1 Facial Mist that is supposed to hydrate, fix and refresh with watermelon extract. I won this in a giveaway around Thanksgiving time with a bunch of their products and so thankful for that!! I received several products that I haven't tried including this one and gotta say I like it. It does smell just like watermelons so if you're sensitive to smell, skip this! I really enjoyed this spray! I mostly used this within my skincare routine (a couple times after makeup) and found that while it did hydrate and refresh my skin I didn't think it necessarily "fixed" my makeup. If I wasn't wearing makeup it gave me a glow on the high points of my face which I loved! I would recommend this, but it probably only lasted about a month with double use. I didn't track usage goal but my guess somewhere around 30-40? The third instalment in @kassiemakesitup ‘s Element makeup series and my take on it. This is Earth. For me, earth is rich and dark, golden and with green things growing out of it! Therefore, I went with these colours, dark brown, shimmery brown-green and shimmery grassy green, as well as gold details. You can’t see it properly in the picture, but I used the gold from my @beautyact Summer palette as a liner on my bottom wet line, and it looked great! I’m going to use it that way again. I smudged the browns and greens a bit below my eyes, on my cheeks and my nose to make it look like I had been digging in the soil and wiped it on my face. The brown and greens came from my @anastasiabeverlyhills Nouveau palette, see swatches in the 2nd pic. I ordered some @inglot_cosmetics Duraline to use with this black shadow to make it easier and more long lasting when using it as a liner. I haven’t tried it with a wing yet, because there is a bit of a learning curve and it is a bit more time consuming to scrap off some shadow and mix with the Duraline each time. I’m trying to catch up on some #palettebreakdown posts, so you get another one this week! This is the Jungle Princess (they couldn’t come up with a better name??) palette from @makeuprevolution and their Lion King collab. I thought the color story was super fun, but the purples in here were not great. The matte is powdery and not very pigmented, whereas the shimmer doesn’t pack as much of a punch as the others. Zelda project pan update! I'm so behind on my updates I have 4 swaps 😅 and they're all a month old. But if you saw my life update a couple posts ago, I have been sick and not wearing makeup all month or posting anything so I'm just getting back into it now. I'm still working on a mascara and setting spray from before. All the eyeshadows were great, I'm trying to have some bright eyeshadows rolling through this project since my main project this year is battleship pans with a neutral palette. Here's the description of all of the prompts corresponding with my next picks (one of which I already finished and rolled out!): Hylian Shield - Pick an item that is dependable: Loading... coral eyeshadow is what I picked! It's basically my favorite eyeshadow shade, and I'm happy to use it in basically any look. Ancient bow - Pick one of your oldest items : This liquid balm is really old and it's basically a 'tinted lip oil' but I got it in 2018. I feel like it should probably be expired but I haven't had any issues with it yet. Here's hoping I don't start having issues during this project. Master sword - Pick your favorite item: I picked this lipstick that I'm pretty sure I've raved about enough, I've actually finished a whole one of these and repurchased it! It's a lovely brown-y peach shade, and on the desaturated side. Warm desaturated oranges and orange reds are probably the best lipstick shades for me in general. I already hit my goal on this one! Lizal boomerang - Pick an item you've repurchased at least once: I picked this peach corrector that I finished and repurchased once, though I've since realized yellow green is better for color correcting my undereye, and I just mix this shade with my own green concoction to bring it closer to a skintone shade. It's a great formula but unfortunately finding a light desaturated yellow green-leaning undereye concealer/corrector doesn't exist on the market in any formula so it's just me mixing up my own thing for now, ever since I figured it out. This one will be easy to hit goal on once I start wearing makeup again because I do undereye color correcting with basically every 'full eyeshadow' look.

I picked up the @kayali sparkling lychee perfume during the Sephora sale. I’m obsessed with the pistachio gelato one from this brand and enjoyed this scent when I smelled it in store. This is a nice light scent- slightly fruity with a light floral scent. It’s very nice for spring. I’m enjoying it but it has pretty poor lasting power. The pistachio one lasts many hours on me, but I find this one fades within an hour or so. Which is kind of annoying.
