✨️ Bronze Cheeks incoming ✨️ She's a beauty! I'm still waiting for my other ND Bloom cheek palette to arrive, but I got the Bronze this morning and ohhhh I love her! I really wanted a compact face palette for travelling (I go away pretty often for a couple days or on holidays). I usually pack a few face/cheek products that end up taking too much space or weight. I love that it includes both powder and cream formulas which is perfect for my use. To be fairly honest; I'll have to use a light end on the powder highlighter (pale skin tone gang over here) but I'm so pleased with the colour of the cream products which will be perfect! ✨Natasha Denona Rich Glam✨ When the Glam Palette launched I participated in an open collab to share my version of a Glam Palette. My next focus palette will be a spin-off of that "My Glam" Palette. So I've recently been thinking about that palette and by association I was also thinking about the Natasha Denona Glam Palette. So one day the concept of "Rich Glam" came into my mind: a dark sister to the original Glam Palette. I looked through @temptalia's swatches to select neutrals with slightly different undertones that aren't too light, but still offered a range in depth. I didn't look at the original Glam color scheme until I had decided on a color story. I also arranged the shades so they would look nice in the palette, so the shade names don't match at all. Hopefully, if Natasha ever does a deep version of Glam she'll ditch the naming convention of the original Glam palette. I ended up with two Natasha Denona shades in this palette: Spectrum from the the Star Palette and Suntan from the Bronze Palette (and of course I could have chosen Blackest Black from My Dream as the matte black). The last slide shows a comparison of my Rich Glam Palette to some Natasha Denona palettes. Let me know what you think of this palette! Rose&Wood Prediction If you keep up with beauty trademarks or watched @_kellygooch's 2024 Beauty Predictions video you'd know that #natashadenona has trademarked Rose&Wood. I was intrigued by that name and decided to create two Midi Palettes based on it, a dark and a light version. On the last slide I compared my Rose&Wood Palettes to other Natasha Denona Palettes. all swatches by @temptalia (From top to bottom: Rose&Wood light, Rose&Wood dark, Retro Glam, Retro, Love, Yucca) There are some similar shades in Love and Retro. But the most similar in concept is Retro Glam. Another face palette in my collection, because why not 🤫 I chose the lightest version (originally in the Jellyfish palette) in an owl 🦉 packaging, and I’m actually in love. I still prefer last year’s butterfly 🦋 design though 🤭 but this artwork is definitely way more appealing to me than the jellyfish one 🪼. It’s a pricey face palette, but as I mentioned in my previous post, I use @hourglasscosmetics and Nars palettes the most. This is my third #HourglassCosmetics palette, so the only repetitive shades are the powders I believe 🫠 I wish they’d come up with something different next year. Urban Decay Lovesick Vibes Palette I wanted to create a Valentine's Day mockup, but didn't have a particular brand in mind, so I looked at my previous mockups for inspiration. I previously created my perfect neutral-ish grungy color story with the Ruined Vibes Palette. I think the design of the Stoned Vibes palette is very aesthetic and recognizable, so it would be a good candidate for a series of palettes (instead of turning anything into a Naked Palette). While I went for grungy tones last time, that fit my preferences and UD's roots, I went with a more commercial pink, red & neutral color story to match UD's current vibe. It's a basic assortment of colors but in pretty packaging, which is really all you can ask for from UD these days. Rare Beauty but make it grungy. I kind of forgot about this palette format from Rare Beauty until @doodlesbythebunny put her own spin on it. I'm a sucker for celestial themes, so I wanted to create my own version. I think celestial themes work well with a goth/alternative style, which I tried to capture her. Obviously, it doesn't really match Rare's/Selena's aesthetic, but I like it when brands branch out of their usual aesthetic (and of course it matches my makeup preferences better). Hello! I decided to count how many times I use this palette and yesterday I reached 50 uses. Honestly it was such a hassle for me because I make custom colour stories for each week but I also didn't want to use only one shade a day. So every time I put any shade to my weekly palette I had to include another 3 at least. Counting usage in palettes is not for me. I bought this palette last autumn and used it a lot because the eyeshadows cracked a little when I depotted them. I wanted to use up all the crumbles. I have palettes older than a year with much less than 50 use. This palette is currently in line to #panineverypalette , I'm working on the red shade. The champagne is AMAZING, I want it as a highlighter pan honestly! The deep bronze & one of the blues are barely average but like okay I guess & the last blue is utter trash 😂🙈 • The glitters are nice & I like them okay enough but not Colourpop level good to me! PRODUITS TEINT MAYBELLINE En règle générale, je suis toujours satisfaite des produits Maybelline et c'est pourquoi, j'y suis un allée les yeux fermés en faisant une sélection chez @notino_fr. J'ai pris plusieurs teintes différentes parce que ce n'est pas toujours simple de choisir les produits quand il n'y a pas de swatches. J'ai donc testé la nouvelle formule du fond de teint Super stay et je dois avouer que je l'aime moins que la précédente : plus épais, fini pas naturel, le produit sèche dans la pompe (ce qui m'a valu des taches sur les vêtements quand le produit est sorti en "explosion"). L'anticernes m'a plus convaincue par contre, il sèche très vite donc il faut vite le travailler. Je suis aussi mitigée quant aux poudres. Elles sont difficiles à prélever car trop sèches (je dois gratter la surface avec l'ongle) et ça, ça m'agace. La texture est fine donc elle n'accentue pas les plis de la peau. La marque promet un teint unifié et, de mon côté, je ne suis pas convaincue. Je dois en mettre une tonne pour fixer mon teint, du coup, le résultat n'est pas naturel. Let's start with the packaging: it's the most beautiful flowery yellow design and I'm so in love with it. The top half is covered with a shiny reflective rubber layer. It has a nice weight to hold (mirror inside) and closes securely, a bit hard to open though. The back side is plain yellow. Contains 12 pans, total weight 17,2 g. Il s'agit de la Extra Spice de Rimmel. Quand elle est sortie, j'ai longtemps voulu la Heat sans me jeter à l'eau. Avec le temps, elle me faisait moins envie. Puis, je suis tombée sur ce dupe et je n'ai pas résisté.
