I did say I had some things in store to celebrate today, and this is something that shouldn't be too surprising, for I've been going through with this yearly cover posting dedication since 2015 when I first started posting my Music Mondays around that time (since I started doing them in August the year before that), and since then, I somehow managed to make it a traditional thing on Instagram to make and post a cover of this kind of song to honor the 4th of July and all those who've died fighting for our country's freedom. A few other almost related songs managed to join it as well, like "Firework" by @katyperry, "Made In The USA" by @ddlovato, "Independence Day" by @5sos, etc., Some of which may not be really related to the holiday at all, but the titles just looked and felt to good to pass up the opportunity to cover for the occasion. Sorry I couldn't make more than this for today, but at least managed to pull off one to honor America as the citizen I am, because I am Texan, I am American, and I'm proud to be one no matter what may become of it in the future. You know something, I've heard both versions of this song, and personally, I think the one performed by Fina is my most favorite, and why? Because the way it was rewritten and how Fina sings it really speaks to me in several ways. Like if I had a daughter who performed this song at some school concert event like Fina did in the movie, it would not only be the best concert I've ever been too, but one of the most memorable nights as well. Here's the last of the songs by this amazing Singer/Songwriter to honor her 32nd Birthday today. This one's a little more special, because this is alot more than just a song on it's own. You see, last month (in case no one you have heard yet, though I'd be a little surprised if you didn't) there was this short film with the same name that was directed by Taylor herself and was released, and boy did it catch ALOT of attention from Swifties everywhere, it was the one of the few biggest things that have happened along with the song (the 10 minute version of it) became the best and longest (if not just the first) song to ever reach the top charts. So yeah, the title, "All Too Well" is a very popular one in many places now. Now whether or not it was released on this day all those years ago, since it was on a Monday, I thought I'd give it a go for old times sake. Since this is the last song, and after everything I've posted hinting at what I was about to say in the "special message", I think it's about time I explained what it means. It's a bit of a long story, but to cut it short, there's a REALLY big change that's about to happen, it regards my Music Mondays, and it's not something I can say I'm proud of. As some of you may know, alot of things have been happening lately, much of which is not very good, and it's been greatly affecting me in many bad ways. My point here is, while the Music Mondays I've been doing after all these years have been fun and memorable and all that, it just hasn't been as fun for me as it used to be, so therefore, I haven't really been as happy nor motivated about them for some time now, and alot of the current events that have been going on hasn't been helping me so much either. The big picture is, this may likely be the very last Music Monday I'll be doing for a while, for I'll need some time to figure things out and help myself out of my own personal predicaments that have been slowly killing me for a while now (I meant it figuratively, of course). This is what possibly few people would remember as the final song ever released from the @disneychannel show, "Austin & Ally". This was featured in the series finale episode, "Duets & Destiny" during Austin and Ally's performance on "The Helen Show" (parody of @theellenshow) after their reunion from the in-show four years they've been apart after the events of the second to last episode of the show, "Musicals & Moving On". It's pretty interesting how fate can bring people back together like that, even after things went bad between them, even though it was just in a TV show, it doesn't mean it can't happen to anyone else, kinda depends on the partnership and how close the two partners are. I've never had this kind of feeling before, despite me meeting people that I could've been with, though it doesn't mean it won't happen to me later on, it's only a matter of fate and whoever might be the right person may turn out to be. Nevertheless, as late as it seems, I still want to thank the cast members, Ross, Laura, @rainydaychatter & @calumworthy for giving us an amazing show, as well as some amazing songs that can bring out alot of different sides of people. It's a shame that the show has to end when it did, but it was still amazing while it lasted, and I'll never forget how entertaining and inspiring it was, and not just because it's available to watch on @disneyplus now. This is song is special for alot of reasons, and not just because it's the last song on the album's standard version. Nope, it's also the very last song that was ever featured on the @nickelodeon show with the same name before it ended with the theme song. It was featured on the very last episode of the show, (specifically, "Big Time Dreams"), where it also featured highlights from the show, a performance of the song at the "Tween Choice Awards" (parody combination of both @kidschoiceawards & @teenchoicefox) and many other popular stars from back then that made special appearances on the episode. It was this show that inspired me to believe that dreams can become a reality, with enough passion, talent, and perseverance, then just about anyone can grab such a dream with both hands, and go Big Time. And also when I mentioned that there was a chance that this song would make a comeback at some point in the future? Well this is that point. Now I know what some of you may be thinking, and no, this is not the same cover from back then, no this is a recording of the same song, only this time, it features the bridge for this very song at the beginning of the video. The reason why I brought this song back is because it's part of that message that I said before that I'm intending on bringing before long. Has anyone figured it out yet? No? Well don't worry, it'll come around, and you'll know soon enough. But until then, I want to express just how relatable this song can be. When I first heard this one, I felt like it really spoke to me like in a singer's point of view, it's referring to leaving something (or someone) behind that you love so much so that you can achieve something else you've always wanted, and it's one fo the hardest decisions you ever have to make. Another interesting thing is that when the first line Hillary sings mentioned "Disney World" in it, it was something else that kept me listening to this song, because it makes me think of some other things I hope to do when the times comes for it to happen. But other than that, something I can agree on is the fact that taking off from something you love doing, depending on what it is, will always be the hardest thing you ever have to do, but if it's for good reason, and if it helps you be happy or feel better when things are getting hard, then it will eventually be worth it. As much as I hate to admit it, there are some things that even I have to part with in order to help me feel better about myself, as a person, as a musician, as whatever I aspire to become in this life. I'd like to thank Bubba once again for the shout-out from back then, it was a real honor. Here's another one of my favorite songs from my childhood by this amazing country singer that I've never shared about until today. I didn't know it at the time yet, but this is a song that was actually not technically by this artist to begin with. Nope, this song was actually performed by P. P. Arnold that was eventually rerecorded many times by many other artists coming around until Sheryl was the last to release it (though the next time it came around again was when it was covered by @mirandacosgrove back in 2014). I'll say this much, this song is deeply accurate in several ways, the heartbreak, the skepticism, the fear of being rejected or used by someone you believed you could love again, it's very real, and I know because I've actually been there before. In the past, I never really knew what the song meant, but it wasn't until I actually got rejected by this girl I liked myself for me to realize that the pain you feel from that experience is the worst you could ever feel. Everyone has something they're afraid of, me, not much really frightens me to be honest, though when it comes to stuff like love and rejection, it's the kind of thing that I just can't shake, no matter how much I want to. Hopefully a day will come when I'll overcome that feeling, but for now, I just don't know. This part technically features lyrics from the two songs, "Lean On Me" by @realbillwithers & "Let It Be" by @thebeatles, but overall, the title itself actually comes from a song with the same name by this called @the_rembrandts who for anyone who's heard it, is also the theme song for that classic show, @friends. I'll be honest, it kinda surprised me when I found out while I was doing research for the songs, mostly when I learned that there is/was a band out there who went by the name of "Rembrandt", but nevertheless, the important thing is when the song was all put together, it created something that inspired me, something that could inspire many others. So I thank once again to those who've had the privilege to be a part of something magnificent to help those in need. Not yet. There's one more thing I want to post before it's all over. This here is another three-part cover that I've thought about doing for quite a while now. This is a bit of a mashup of three different songs brought together thanks to the work of @kennyortegablog and the many talented young artists who came together last year to create this very masterpiece to help raise awareness of homeless people. If there's one thing I've noticed that's wrong in the world, and there's quite a number of them, it's innocent people living a hard life without a roof over their heads and food on a table they don't even have. It makes me feel sad and helpless myself that I can't do much about it, for I'm nothing more than an Instagramer who posts a bunch of covers every Monday. But despite my position, it doesn't mean I don't listen nor have a heart to try and find a way. The most I want in the world is to help others out when they need it most, including people who don't have a home to live in, both back then and even today. The person or "she" I'm referring to is my old friend, Hannah, someone who I've known from school that I've somehow always been able to confide in when it comes to personal stuff. We went our separate ways 5 years ago after our high school graduation, and I'll tell you not a single day goes by that I don't miss her. I met up with her again 3 years later at her sister, McKenna's high school graduation, and after seeing her for the first time in so long, after we split again, it made me miss her even more. This one goes a little darker because of how connected it is to my own Music Mondays. For a while now, I've noticed how much has changed not just for everything else, but also for me as well. I've also noticed that starting in the summer two years ago, my like count in most of my covers have been going seriously downhill compared to the others that have gotten quite the high numbers. It's only quite saddening because I've always worked so hard to make these videos something enjoyable for everyone on Instagram to watch when they need something to listen to, and the way I saw it back then, the amount of likes people leave me was always the best reward I could ask for. But nowadays, the likes I get for these videos have become minimal in numbers, and it no longer feels as rewarding as it once was. The reason for this is a little personal, but does anyone remember the last time I did this and I said that there was a chance that this song would make a reappearance sometime in the future? @johnmayer - #WaitingOnTheWorldToChange Part 2 Here's the second part of my cover for the amazing song that was inspired by @liampayne's performance for @unicef that's dedicated to the world and what's been happening on it, both now and in forever. You know, I remember when I was alot younger, and I didn't really care much about what was happening in the world because I was both stuck in my own, and I didn't understand how it all worked out back then. But now that I'm older, and I've seen things that not even the average human should be allowed to see, I felt I should pay the world back for my ignorance and adolescence by doing good and helping out others when they need it most. Of course frankly, I much would rather try to help out the rest of the world not just in my country, state, or even my hometown alone, though unfortunately, it's beyond my own little power, and that's why I want to do what I can to let people know I can help them, even if I can't physically do so. It's like the song says, people on TV can bend the important info all they want because they have the power to do so therefore, they're not always honest. And also the fighting for good is rather unfair because of our lack of power, and so we all feel outnumbered. Well I'm not that kind of person, I try to be as honest here on Instagram as I can and try to help out, and powerless or not, I'm not gonna stop fighting for hope and happiness for the world, especially when the world's children need it most. I remember pretty well the week I posted this, cause it was the very last Disney theme song cover I had left to post for that week, but because application troubles, I wasn't able to post it the same day the others were, so I had to do it the day after. Here's the repost of the cover of one of my favorite songs from the amazing @disneychannel series, "Austin & Ally" (Starring Ross, Laura, @rainydaychatter & @calumworthy). I remember when I used to watch this show all the time, it was really amazing while it lasted, including the songs. It's too bad the show had to end back in early 2016, but like I mentioned in one of the last videos, all shows eventually have to come to an end, even if we don't want them to. I also remember this song wasn't very easy to figure out how to do, the best I did was I was listening to the music in the song as best as I could til I could find out how to work it, and pretty soon, this happened. The show the may be over, but the songs still rock, and they'll continue for as long as the fans keep listening to them, kinda like how I did with my Music Mondays in the past, I kept doing them for as long as people were willing to listen to them. It might not be as it used to be anymore, I'm still willing to keep up with them for as long as I'm able to, and given how things have been lately, it might not be much longer. @henrydangerforce Theme Song (Danger Force) #ThisGasWillPass This is a new more modernized video cover of what I'd like to call the theme song for the @nickelodeon show & "Henry Danger spin-off, "Danger Force" (Starring @therealcooperbarnes, @michaeldcohen, @havanflores, @littlegardenhigh, @missdanaheath & @lucaluhan). At first I didn't know if it could be possible to do this because what we've heard in the intro didn't sound like much of a theme song, but after hearing what I found in the end credits along with some extra research, I decided to make it happen. Granted it may not be as good as many would hope for, but I did do my best with what I had, especially at the end of it. I still can't believe the Henry Danger show has come to an end nearly a year and a half ago, even though I knew it would happen eventually, it's still crazy to know it did. But at least it's legacy will continue to move on in it's spin-off for as long as it can. That's kinda the best that we all can do right? We start off something, see how far we can go with it, and finally put it away when it's made it's last round, it applies to TV shows and the things we do. You know, I always thought that I could have a show of my own, one that shows off how my life works and the hilarious moments that happen in between them. This is the theme song to show that aired on @nickelodeon nearly a year ago, "Side Hustle" (Starring Annie, Jayden, @isaiahsamuelcrews & @themitchellberg). This was actually made not very long ago, and I believe it was dedication to Annie's Birthday that happened around that time. I remember it wasn't very easy to make and post this back then, believe it or not, it REALLY wasn't. My reasons for why were very personal, for it involved a member of the cast, and a change they did beforehand that made me question some things, like what I believed in, and why a change was made to something that wasn't very necessary in the first place. While some of you may already know who I'm talking about, I still don't want to mention who it is because I still support that person for what they continue to do. I'm sure that person has their reasons for what they did, but I still wish I could understand why it happened, otherwise, it's uneasy for me to try and support such a big change. While I have seen the first episode of the show and enjoyed it, wasn't easy to finish off because of the big change that was made and was difficult to process. I can't blame the show or the people on it, because it's really good and those on it are awesome, but sometimes I just wish that whatever happened didn't happen, otherwise, I wouldn't feel uneasy as I do now, and I could enjoy the show even more. But I know it's not up to me, and even so, the best I could ask for is to understand why it happened, so that I can start feeling better later on.
