Aujourd’hui, c’est la journée internationale de la danse ! Alors, il me semblait approprié de vous partager un peu de mon parcours en lien avec elle. Après avoir exploré la capoeira, la danse africaine et d’autres type de danses, un beau jour de 2009, je me suis retrouvé dans un bal. Incapable de retenir les 3 pas de danse que l’on m’avait montré, j’ai quand même passé un très bon moment… j’étais surtout émerveillé de voir les gens danser ensemble, faire communion dans le mouvement. Si j’avais une religion jusque là, c’était la musique ! Mais, même si je ne le savais pas encore, la danse allait très vite prendre une place tout aussi importante dans ma vie. J’ai remis les pieds sur les parquets à différentes occasions cette même année, toujours avec le même émerveillement, avant de suivre mon premier stage de danse au printemps 2010. J’étais très loin d’imaginer que je jouerais un jour pour des gens qui dansent ou que je réaliserais deux albums dont les musiques ont largement été inspirées par le mouvement… ni même que je donnerais aussi des stages de danse ! Depuis quelques semaines, je suis sur les routes pour faire danser les gens, et j’adore ça ! En attendant d’enregistrer un 3e album, rendez-vous sur les parquets ou dans vos oreilles !
