Heading to my Star Wars shelves, it's Pop! Unmasked Vader #43 from the Star Wars line of Funko Pops! This one's a 2015 Blue Box release! *** FUNKO POP! REVIEW *** Firstly, check out the quality of the box and display window! For an 8 year old 'common' Funko Pop this is in great condition (often Common Pops! are not looked after as well as they could be, so the box condition tends to suffer). The edges are clean and crisp, and although there are slight signs of wear to a couple of the corners, the overall look and shape of the box is reallyu good! The display window fold is perfectly square and sharp and there are no signs of scuffing. On to the Pop! inside... I'm really happy that I got this one out-of-box to appreciate the detail that you otherwise couldn't see. I'm surprised how detailled this one is as fine detail was often not a priority on the earlier Funko Pops. I really like the sculpt here, particularly the little touches to the remaining section of his mask and the scars on his head - the detail continues on the back (you wouldn't know this was there if he remained in-box) which is amazing! The paintwork is really great too, I cannot see a single colour over-lap or 'bleed-through' that shouldn;t be there. The small detail to his chest breathing apparatus and belt is so neat and intricate and really sets this Pop! out as one of Funko's better pieces! Overall, I have ZERO issues with this Pop! and am super happy to have him join my collection! Thanks GameXchange for this one!
