I picked up the new DC Multiverse 1st Appearance Batman figure a week or so ago. He's mostly reused parts from the Three Jokers/Hush Batman, but I felt like there's enough new stuff here to warrant the purchase for me. He has all the shortcomings you've come to expect from this buck body. He's too big to have standing next to 90% of the other figures in the line, his head and neck are one solid piece and has very little range of motion in his torso. The headsculpt doesn't look totally accurate to the source material, but the changes McFarlane made are improvements IMO. The wired cape is made of the same cheap feeling material as the Batman 66 and Super Powers capes are, but it works surprisingly well with a wire sewn into it. You can straighten out the edges easily just by pinching the wire and running your fingers down the side. The cape originally had pleats in it, but I ironed it out because it had a bunch of ugly, unintentional wrinkles from being stuffed in the package. He comes with 3 sets of hands and a wrench. I like the idea of the wrench but he doesn't come with any hands that can hold it effectively, which makes it kinda pointless. I appreciate extra hands, but they look a little weird, especially the karate chop hands. I saw the Platinum Chase Variant when I got this one.
