Deux jeunes enfants tombent amoureux platoniquement en Corée. Tous deux en gardent un souvenir mémorable,. 20 ans ils se connectent grâce au réseau social mais les circonstances de la vie va interrompre cette communication. Enfin 30 ans après ils vont pouvoir se rencontrer à New YORK, est que l'amour sera encore là et si oui elle provoquera quoi dans la propre existence de chacun ? Céline SONG s'est inspiré d'une expérience où elle s’est retrouvée assise dans un bar entre deux hommes issus de périodes très différentes de sa vie : son mari, originaire de New York, et son amour de jeunesse, qui venait de Corée et visitait la ville et justement on retrouve cette scène au début du film. On est dans du "HARRY RENCONTRE SALLY" ou encore "SUR LA ROUTE DE MADISON" version coréenne. Ce film parle de la vie c'est vrai elle est faite de chemins, on les emprunte et parfois on choisit une autre direction. L'histoire est d'un grand romantisme, elle est divisée en 03 parties l'enfance, le fait de pouvoir reprendre contact et enfin la rencontre. Ce film pose véritablement une question cruciale est que l'homme ou la femme sont prêt à anéantir leur présent pour pouvoir revivre l'histoire d'amour de leur jeunesse , et provoquer le fait de refaire ta vie ou de changer d'existence ? Et donc se dire en tant que spectateur si cela nous arrive est que tu en es capable ? On a tous connu cette première histoire d'amour et elle est marquante pour chacun d'entre nous. Tout le monde se reconnaît face à ce scénario et chacun aura sa propre réponse. La réalisatrice Céline SONG, rend le 03ème personnage sympathique. Le fameux mari Certes il y a des petites longueurs surtout le début du film.
