Isadora une personne particulière qui a été en incapacité de quitter cette maison, elle a renoncé à ses études en ville, à une demande en mariage pour y rester. Sa maison, sa vie. Elle finira par se l'approprier entièrement, égoïstement, en tolérant de moins en moins la présence des autres. Elle en fera une véritable forteresse, une prison, sa prison. Elle s'est construite dans le souvenir et la nostalgie de son enfance et y est restée "enfermée". Elle a certainement édulcorée cette période puisque sa sœur Louise en dépeint une version plus sombre. Isadora finira dans une extrême solitude. 📙 Ce roman est un voyage à travers les saisons qui s'égrènent dans cette maison de campagne. Le lecteur fera la connaissance de la famille d'Isadora et des liens qui les unissent. 📗 L'auteure est âgée de 24 ans et fait preuve d'une grande maturité dans l'écriture. Les descriptions sont poétiques, la plume est superbe. Une narration contemplative qui permet au lecteur d'être imprégné de l'ambiance qui régnait dans cette maison. The colorful Ca D’Zan window, designed with Mable Ringling's favorite hues, offers a vibrant view of Sarasota Bay from the Venetian mansion, now a museum, situated on 66 acres along the bay. A little story about nature, slowness and silence... This 12 months I've craved peace and ease. I've started and increased my practises of sitting in silence, sitting and watching, and spiritually things like Practising the presence of God, Practising his Peace and imaginative and meditative prayers (that have been a part of our early Christian history) and sort of forgotten. I'm enjoying nature more than I did, and sitting watching this great oak is one of my new and relaxing practises that cultivates peace and rest. This Oak is a whole mini world and eco system of its own. I've started to notice the pairs of pigeons, I named one pair Bertie and Boo. Also magpies, which are getting quite bold and coming to sit quite near at times. From late spring, God started to take me on a journey about inner healing and the inner world and wholeness, and I'm going to be sharing that journey here. I'm enjoying nature more than I did, and sitting watching this great oak is one of my new and relaxing practises that cultivates peace and rest. This Oak is a whole mini world and eco system of its own. I've started to notice the pairs of pigeons, I named one pair Bertie and Boo. Also magpies, which are getting quite bold and coming to sit quite near at times. From late spring, God started to take me on a journey about inner healing and the inner world and wholeness, and I'm going to be sharing that journey here.
