Jaleo by Jose Andres at @disneysprings was fantastic.
We were a little unsure about visiting this restaurant as it seems expensive for tapas/ small plates, but we went for it and decided to go with the drinks pairing as well. It was wonderful.
Some strange looking stuff and some weird combinations but all great. And we were stuffed at the end of it.
The only negative was the accessible restroom was out of order (door was off the hinges?!) so I had to use the elevator to go to the restroom on the 2nd floor (which wasn’t being used ) , so that was a faff, but it didn’t take away from the experience.
We definitely recommend this if you’re visiting Disney Springs.

Followed up Animal Kingdom with an evening at Disney Springs. Got some Gideon's cookies and spotted this rainbow while getting some Orange Bird Dole whip. When you only get to see your bestie every 24 months or so, you get to splurge a little. Last night she treated me to the chef's tasting menu at @jaleobyjose #jaleodisneysprings
We had cava sangria, iberico ham, a salmon cone, tomato, manchego and tomato crostini, endive goat cheese and citrus bite, pulpo salad, chicken bechamel bites, piquillo peppers stuffed with goat cheese, patatas bravas, mussels, chorizo and potato puree, tomato with pickled veggies and anchovies, garlic shrimp, carne asada, flan and a bread a chocolate dessert.
Outstanding meal.

After reviewing my photos from Jaleo, the pick for the first photo was obvious 💀💀💀 Those were the chicken croquettes, served on patented quirky plate. I’m all about that 😆. First time eating here, and I was honestly a bit intimidated by the menu before going. However, what we ordered was delicious and the atmosphere bright and cheerful. The Mexican Coke was 👏🏻, same for the chorizo. Bot a cheese person but @jennifer_jarmond loved all the cheese she picked for her plate.
