I am here preparing communal snack for my child’s preschool and I am thinking of World Central Kitchen. I recently had the pleasure of visiting @zaytinya by @chefjoseandres at the @ritzcarltonsouthbeach The restaurant offers a variety of mezzes (or small appetizer plates) inspired by Turkish, Lebanese, Greek, and Mediterranean cuisine. We tried the Cookbook Tasting Experience, with three generous courses and beautiful warm bread, split between delicious mezze, seafood, meats, and closing with desserts. Some of the standout dishes to me where: - Hummus (Light, creamy, and delicious) - Fattoush salad with vinaigrette (So incredibly fresh) - Brussels Afelia (Larger than expected and so tasty) - Artichoke Zeytinyagli Carrots (Tender, juicy, and flavorful) - Roe dip (From the regular menu) - Midyes Mussels (Just fantastic) I would definitely recommend this restaurant and go back. MINI REDONDOS DE POLLO CON CHAMPIÑONES INGREDIENTES: 4 Redondos de pollo pequeños rellenos de pavo y queso, 1 cebolla grande, 150 gr. de champiñones, aceite de oliva, sal, 2 vasos de agua, 1 de Jerez seco. PREPARACIÓN: En una olla a presión se sofríen los redondos dándoles vueltas. Cuando estén dorados, se reservan y en el mismo aceite, se pocha la cebolla cortada en trozos no muy grandes. Entretanto, limpiamos bien los champiñones y los cortamos en 4 trozos cada uno. Se añaden a la cebolla y se les da unas vueltas (2/3 minutos) . Se añaden los redondos y se agrega el agua y el jerez. Se sala al gusto. Cerramos la olla y cuando la válvula empiece a girar contamos 10 minutos y apagamos el fuego. Servir los redondos cortados a rodajas y con la salsa de champiñones. Los redondos se pueden encontrar en Supermercados o Carnicerías, y la olla a presión es optativa. También se pueden hacer en olla convencional o cazuela, vigilando el tiempo hasta que veamos que la carne ya está bien hecha. World Central Kitchen is devastated to confirm seven members of its team have been killed in an IDF strike in Gaza. The WCK team was traveling in a deconflicted zone in two armored cars branded with the WCK logo and a soft skin vehicle. Despite coordinating movements with the IDF, the convoy was hit as it was leaving the Deir al-Balah warehouse, where the team had unloaded more than 100 tons of humanitarian food aid brought to Gaza on the maritime route.
