Let's talk about Disney Skyliner. It's such an excellent method of transportation around the Walt Disney World Resort! These breezy, well ventilated gondolas whisk you from Epcot or DHS to your resort hotel at the end of the day (or for your mid day break as well!). They run all day weather permitting. More often than not, I recommend staying at one of the resorts that offer this means to get from your hotel to either Epcot or Disney's Hollywood Studios. I prefer easier access to TWO parks rather than staying at a monorail resort (although I love them, too!) and having easier access to Magic Kingdom. I love that there are Disney Resorts at all levels - Deluxe Villa, Deluxe Resort, Moderate Resort, AND Value Resort. I know! No one talks on the phone anymore, right? Well, I do! When you book your travel with me, this is just one benefit. You can email me with your need and I will call the travel supplier for you. Instead of you waiting on hold, I will wait on hold for you. Here are just a few reasons I call (and wait on hold) for my clients: ☎️ There's a new offer that will save you money and I'm calling in to the travel supplier to try to save you money. Deal days are always busy days for travel suppliers and the waits are sometimes hours. I love saving my clients money! ☎️You are traveling with a large group and want your hotel rooms close to one another. Sometimes the best way to make that request is with a phone call. Sadly, it's always a request, not a guarantee, but I find calling is the best. ☎️You're booked on a cruise and you want to change your stateroom number. Maybe you have decided to splurge on a suite or have changed your mind and want the port side of the ship instead of the starboard. Cruise lines, I've found, always have long hold times. ☎️You're ready to make your final payment and you want to add the travel insurance. I always recommend travel insurance for the peace of mind while you're traveling. It is after all, not a cancellation policy, but covers so much while you're traveling. ☎️Name changes on any itinerary are always best done by phone, in my opinion. For these reasons and so many more, you need a travel advisor. After all, usually when you book directly with any travel supplier, you're paying my commission anyway. Many of you have asked me about Maui and the Lahaina 🔥 fire. You’ve asked if it’s worth going to Maui since the fire destroyed so much. The fire was devastating to Historic Lahaina. Many people lost their homes and businesses. We drove through Lahaina this week and I am saddened by the devastation. We met a man today while volunteering for Habitat for Humanity who lost his home.
