With access to the Skyliner and more dining options than any other Moderate at Disney World, Caribbean Beach Resort is in a league of its own. The bad news: no one area has "the best" access to everything. The good news: we've got the details to help you decide where to stay at Caribbean Beach.⁠ ⁠ A little overview to start ... ⁠ ⁠ Caribbean Beach Resort has "villages" of three buildings each, in sections named after Caribbean islands. Three islands - Aruba, Jamaica, and Trinidad - have a North (closer to the Riviera) and South village; Barbados and Martinique have a single village. Every village has⁠ ⁠ 🌴 a quiet pool⁠ 🌴 a guest laundry⁠ 🌴 small outdoor courtyard seating areas⁠ 🌴 a beach area along Barefoot Bay with sand for your kids to play in & hammocks for you to relax in while they do it⁠ 🌴 a bus stop⁠ 🌴 one building with a Coke Freestyle machine that can be used with the Resort Refill Mugs (other buildings have a regular vending machine)⁠ ⁠ You're never more than a minute or two from a bus. Martinique and the two Aruba villages are closer to the Riviera Skyliner station. Other villages are closer to the Caribbean Beach Hub station that gets you to both EPCOT and Hollywood Studios without a transfer.⁠ ⁠ Old Port Royale is the activity hub, w/ Quick Service, pool bar, and a restaurant, plus the Fuentes del Morro main pool (there's a glamour shot at the end of the deck). You'll also find the lobby and resort store here. Trinidad villages are the farthest from Old Port Royale, but they have easy access to the Spyglass Grill Quick Service. Come fly with me!!! Disney has multiple forms of transportation, from boats to buses to monorails to Skyliners and a few more other fun ones. However, the Skyliner can serve as a ride, especially for small kids. In fact, many people their first time on it say it is such a cool experience. The Skyliner is a gondola like transportation service that runs from select Disney resort to select theme parks between those theme parks as well. it provides a stroller, friendly and wheelchair, friendly and scooter friendly form of transportation for those looking to use something other than just a bus everywhere. Not to mention you get some great views not only Disney property, but behind-the-scenes at some of the theme parks. Not all Disney Skyliner resorts are created equal, however, and not every location within those resorts is the same. Knowing where to stay and how to use Disney transportation to your advantage is a key part of your vacation. I like to keep things simple for my clients. I want you to spend the most time doing the things you want to do and not in limbo. did you know, for example, that at the Caribbean Beach even though there is only one posted, Skyliner hub, you actually get access to another one? BOOKED: The B family will be visiting Walt Disney World in just a few weeks. They are staying for a week at Disney’s Caribbean Beach resort. Their preferred room will put them close to dining, shopping, and shuttle transportation. 🏴‍☠️They’ll also have access to the highly regarded pool complete with waterslide. 🎟️While there, they’ll have five days of Park hopper tickets, which will allow them freedom and flexibility while visiting Walt Disney World’s 4 main parks 👍Staying on property means that they get 30 minutes early entrance on each park day, complimentary transportation between the resort and the parks, early access to dining reservations for the length of their stay, and the ability to book a package with a great deposit and cancellation policy. 🚠Also, because they’re staying at this resort, they’ll have access to the Skyliner system. Today, let's explore the WDW Moderate Resorts! Disney’s moderate hotels are resorts that bridge the price and style gap between the value and deluxe resorts. There are five moderate resorts at Walt Disney World: Caribbean Beach, Coronado Springs, Port Orleans French Quarter, Port Orleans Riverside, and Cabins at Fort Wilderness Campground. Disney moderate resorts (with a few exceptions) have “motel-style” doors—facing outside with no inside hallways. The Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs is "hotel-style" with interior hallways. The Tower also offers guests slightly elevated accommodations and is the only Moderate Resort option to offer club level accommodations (In the Tower only). Also, like the value resorts, each has a food court and all, but one of the moderate resorts has at least one table service restaurant. Port Orleans Riverside, Caribbean Beach, and Coronado Springs are all serviced by buses that make multiple stops. Port Orleans French Quarter is the smallest resort and only has one stop. Caribbean Beach is also the hub of the Disney SkyLiner with service to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios, making it the most popular choice among guests. ⭐️Caribbean Beach Resort Review ⭐️ This was a new resort for us and I gotta say, I’m a big fan of CBR 🙌🏻 🐚We were in the updated “Under the Sea” rooms which is only located in the Trinidad Building. Our room was (two) standard, 5th sleeper rooms that connected to one another. It had plenty of space for us, our four children, two strollers, 5 pieces of luggage between the two rooms. We were in Building 34 which was a quick walk to the Skyliner (a must-have on the Tim Kubis list) and a short walk to the main pool. There also was a smaller pool next to our building 🐚 Favorite take-aways from the resort: 🌴Skyliner access 🌴Updated theming of the rooms 🌴The pool! The kids loved the “kiddie pool with slides” and the large pool with slides 🌴Location on Disney property overall 🌴Can watch the Epcot fireworks from the beach 🌴The Caribbean feel to the resort and fun atmosphere 🌴Variety of rest day” kid activities at the resort 🌴Enjoyed the menu options and the food there Some “knocks” on the resort ❌ There’s no elevators so it would not be a resort I’d book if someone couldn’t walk up a flight of stairs (or carrying two double strollers). The resort definitely would accommodate if you needed to be on the bottom level though. ❌Making multiple stops at CBR on the bus for each “island” group of rooms. We’ll be flying with @virginatlantic (looking forward to this) staying at Caribbean Beach for 10 days, and we’ll be away for our 3rd wedding anniversary AND my 30th birthday which I am SO excited for!! We visited Caribbean a couple of times during our last trip when we were staying at Pop Century and absolutely loved it.
