Huge thanks to @epicnorfolk for putting on a cracking race! Marc finished 94th out of 1200 runners! Norfolk marathon, by all accounts, was grueling, hilly and wet! But the volunteers, race directors (who I have a new found admiration for) were brilliant. Excellently organised, well sign posted directed before/during/after the race. Race day. I was very under prepared. My fitness was shocking. The course was gnarly. I fell off my bike into a bed of stinging nettles and now have a chin shiner. Omg what a fun night!!! We went to The Chophouse in Denver, then saw the Empire Strips back, then ended the night with Marc's first trip to Buccees. It was a dinner I will think about forever. Those lamb shanks were to die for with a ginger old fashioned. Marc had a prime rib that blew his socks off, and Arrianna had her first Filet Mignon (which I cut up for her, like the gentleman I am. Lol). New goal, ladies! Never cut your own steak. I love that rule. The show was amazing! The cast was well put together. They were sensual and hilarious at the same time. We will gladly go again. I dont want to spoil it, go see for yourself. Worth every second and penny. Then I didn't know Marc has never been to a Buccees. He was in awe! It was so fun watching him experience that for the first time. Last night was one of the best night out Marc has provided. He deserves an award for how much fun it was and providing it. For 8.5 years, Giddy has asked to visit my dad's grave. I, however, am not the biggest fan of going. I don't appreciate looking at a rock & thinking of my trauma I'd rather remember the good times I'd rather remember my dad when he was alive So every time he's asked to go to my father's grave, I've said, "Let's go to the woods at Princeton instead."
