This has been my pm routine for the past couple of weeks 🫶🏻 Sometimes I forget that our skin type isn’t a constant variable. I used to always have the shiniest and oiliest forehead, but recently my skin has just been dry and dull. These have been my staples and skin saviors to combat the dryness 🥹 Products featured (in order of use): ✨ @josiemaran argan cleansing oil - I’m shocked this isn’t talked about more. This melts away makeup like a beast and doesn’t leave that weird oily film behind. My skin always feels squeaky clean afterwards like I’ve just used a water-based cleanser. I haven’t had any breakouts from it either! 1000% going to repurchase. ✨ @freshbeauty soy face cleanser ($39 USD) - Yummy, cucumber scented cleanser that foams up to a rich lather. Safe to use over the eyes and even claims to remove residual makeup. Doesn’t make my skin feel tight after. Been a long-time user of it ever since I could remember. ✨ @axisy_official dark spot correcting glow serum ($14 USD) - I hereby declare this as one of my holy grails. It’s gentle on the skin and the ingredients are non-invasive so anyone could easily incorporate it into their routine. This gem is great for beginners who want to get rid of their dark spots. It takes awhile to see results, but it’s so affordable so what’s the risk? Also, this is my THIRD tube, which I’m about to finish soon. ✨ @theinkeylist bio-active ceramide repairing and plumping moisturizer ($20 USD) - She’s thiccc and rich. The cream feels like a warm embrace on the skin, especially on a cold winter day. No funky smell. Wears well underneath makeup. Very nourishing. No complaints. Will need a backup soon! I’m going to be trying to find a balance between productivity for school & self care this weekend & I hope you too can find a balance between work/life responsibilities & self-care. Today I have a review of @josiemaran Sugar & Argan oil body scrub in the scent Bohemian Fig. I was kindly gifted this mini scrub in exchange for my honest opinions. 🧴Details: A sugar scrub formulated to exfoliate dead skin without leaving skin feeling stripped. Responsibly sourced argan oil is included to nourish & moisturize skin along with shea butter & coconut oil. Leaves skin feeling softer, smoother, & looking brighter. Bohemian fig scent includes a mixture of fruit, wood, & citrus to mimic the experience of biting into a ripe fig. Only 100% natural plant essences are used to fragrance a Josie Maran product. 🧴My experience: I have combo, acne prone skin with some sensitivity. I use body scrub 1-2xs a week to exfoliate dead skin & for preventative maintenance. This offers a balance between nourishing & exfoliating properties. Sugar in the scrub exfoliates gently without irritation. Argan & coconut oils leave skin hydrated & moisturized, perfect for dry skin. My skin is softer & more hydrated. The bohemian fig scent isn’t nearly as fruity as I wanted it to be but since not artificial fragrance ingredients are used that makes sense & is not a deal breaker. Bite sized reviews with @josiemaran These are empties now so here are my thoughts 💭 Triple Acid Resurfacing Liquid: like this! For me this was a gentle exfoliator so I used to more like a toner. Argan Oil Light: yes please! This literally is liquid gold and like a dry oil. 10/10 Renewal Body Serum: pass! You had to use sooo much to hydrate and even then my skin was still dry!
