This is an excellent hair mask, had it before and loved it but it's kind of expensive, so when the retailer had a sale going on, I wasn't going to pass it by; I got it at 25% off which is a decent discount. Also got the deodorant cheap, there is a supermarket here that sells...weird stuff only they sell and they also get ocassional well-known brand products. Shipping Casualty 🥲 @coverfx Monochromatic Cheek Duo in Mojave Mauve. My only complaint with Cover Fx is they never package their shipments properly. This one showed up in a mailer that wasn’t padded and didn’t have any packing material inside. This is order 2/3 that arrived damaged because they chose to forgo packing material. I emailed their customer service and they are sending a replacement. However, the last time I had an order damaged they sent it in the same type of package it arrived in even after I asked if they could add extra protection. She still looks pretty when she’s shattered but I’m excited to get my replacement in the mail. . . From my collection. Zelda project pan update! I'm so behind on my updates I have 4 swaps 😅 and they're all a month old. But if you saw my life update a couple posts ago, I have been sick and not wearing makeup all month or posting anything so I'm just getting back into it now. I'm still working on a mascara and setting spray from before. All the eyeshadows were great, I'm trying to have some bright eyeshadows rolling through this project since my main project this year is battleship pans with a neutral palette. Here's the description of all of the prompts corresponding with my next picks (one of which I already finished and rolled out!): Hylian Shield - Pick an item that is dependable: Loading... coral eyeshadow is what I picked! It's basically my favorite eyeshadow shade, and I'm happy to use it in basically any look. Ancient bow - Pick one of your oldest items : This liquid balm is really old and it's basically a 'tinted lip oil' but I got it in 2018. I feel like it should probably be expired but I haven't had any issues with it yet. Here's hoping I don't start having issues during this project. Master sword - Pick your favorite item: I picked this lipstick that I'm pretty sure I've raved about enough, I've actually finished a whole one of these and repurchased it! It's a lovely brown-y peach shade, and on the desaturated side. Warm desaturated oranges and orange reds are probably the best lipstick shades for me in general. I already hit my goal on this one! Lizal boomerang - Pick an item you've repurchased at least once: I picked this peach corrector that I finished and repurchased once, though I've since realized yellow green is better for color correcting my undereye, and I just mix this shade with my own green concoction to bring it closer to a skintone shade. It's a great formula but unfortunately finding a light desaturated yellow green-leaning undereye concealer/corrector doesn't exist on the market in any formula so it's just me mixing up my own thing for now, ever since I figured it out. This one will be easy to hit goal on once I start wearing makeup again because I do undereye color correcting with basically every 'full eyeshadow' look.

I’ve mainly used my Natasha Denona – Retro Glam palette to create this look and reached to Glaminatrix – Into the Night & PMG – Huetopian Dream palettes for a shimmer shade each. I think ND – Retro Glam is v underrated. These are my perfect sage colours. I don’t really think the colour story is too cohesive but I use all of the shades in the palette. It’s also good for both going out & work which is very important for me. Overall, I think it’s a more versatile palette than people give it credit for. Lips: CT – Iconic Nude lipliner Estee Lauder – Insatiable Ivory (I don’t know how much life this lipstick has left in it. It started to lean heavily towards one side and maybe got a bit creamier? than I remember. The last 2 palettes I’ve hit my 3 uses goal with. I’m thinking the number of palettes I roll out will go higher each month. I haven’t done my makeup as much in April but I was still able to roll out 4 palettes. I think I made it very clear how I feel about Samarian Sunset. Pan that palette first update! I wasn't sure if I would do a ptp this year because battleship pans seems like it's kind of enough, but since the palette I picked for that is neutrals, it made since to add some brights back in to my panning assortment. Since the intro, I hit pan on the peachy orange shade! It's probably my favorite shade in this palette so not too surprising. I have been working on the cyan pretty regularly and the rest of the shades less than that. I have been taking a makeup break while sick this past month so I'm not really sure what I want my goal to be next. They all kind of pair nicely with my warm neutrals. There used to be a grey in this palette but I gave it to my sister when we did a makeup exchange. Гель для душа Ecolatier Мягкость и нежность понравился. Эта линейка гелей для душа мне полюбилась за ненавязчивые ароматы. I’ve used Unearthly – Warms My Blood and Adept Cosmetics – Samarian Sunset to create this look. I wanted to do a true red monochromatic look but the red shimmer in Warms My Blood palette kept creasing so, I had to top up with another shade from Samarian Sunset. I like how this look came together but I doubt it will last more than a few hours. I don’t have issues with excessive creasing (not even with Roen quads) so, this was a little disappointing. I think this one is from @honeybeestamps. I colored in the image with @Altenew Artist Markers. Although this looks like a layered card, it is actually just the postcard adhered to a card base. I used the same marker to color in the line around the sentiment and then to color a border on the card base so that the postcard would look like it has a matching layer of cardstock underneath it. I also added some embellishments from Amazon. Werbung, selbstgekauft @mein_rossmann Heute nochmal kurz bei Rossmann gewesen, eigentlich hauptsächlich weil ich mich nach einem guten Vitamin C-Serum umschauen wollte, bin allerdings nicht wirklich fündig geworden 😕. Stattdessen durften einige Dinge mit, die ich in den letzten Tagen/Wochen #leergemacht hatte. Die Kosmetiktücher auf meinem Schminktisch waren heute morgen leer, durften daher in der XL-Variante nochmal mit. Die Haarfarbe hab ich ebenfalls vergangenen Donnerstag verbraucht, hab dieselbe nochmal nachgekauft. Tee darf nie fehlen, der von Teekanne war auf 0,65€ reduziert, Lavendeltee trink ich abends gern und die Rossmann Eigenmarke ist natürlich günstiger als mein aktueller von Bad Heilbrunner. Textilerfrischer ist auch fast leer, darf daher schonmal in den Vorratsschrank. Katzenfutter wurde wieder aufgefüllt, mögen die alten Damen nach wie vor am liebsten. Das Babypuder hatte ich die Tage neu entdeckt, neue Formulierung, endlich ohne Talkum, benutze ich im Sommer sehr gern als Körperpuder. Das Duschgel für den Teenie hatte ich auch nochmal #nachgekauft, finde den Preis unschlagbar und er hatte vorgestern auch ein Duschgel leergemacht. Nagellackentferner ist auch fast leer, durfte daher auch schonmal mit. Die Sonnencreme kenne ich bereits in der SPF50 Variante, mochte ich relativ gern, hab zwar noch einige andere im Schrank, war allerdings auf 2,60€ reduziert und ist noch bis nächstes Jahr haltbar. Zu guter Letzt eine günstige Tagespflege für‘s Dekolleté. 🚨EMPTY ALERT🚨 - I finished up this @nyxcosmetics Bare with me serum concealer. I quite liked it and would repurchase. It was on the lighter side of coverage and good for minimal makeup days. My only gripe is that it’s the lightest shade but it’s too dark 🫠 maybe they have come out with more shades since idk but I wouldn’t repurchase unless there was a lighter shade! -
What is your take on replacements + backups? What has worked (or not worked) for you in the past? I’ve made some DUMB mistakes with backups but thankfully with my No Buy and Panning Projects I’ve managed to work through the worst of them now! 😅 Despite having made such mistakes, I still DO buy backups, mostly because I’m so emphatically against buying makeup full price😂. I also find buying backups helpful for my shopping habits + mental health. I’ve written before about how much more peace I feel being on a No Buy. When shopping is taken off the table altogether, it leaves space in my brain for clarity and relaxation. I find shopping time consuming + stressful, often overthinking my decisions, even on basic stuff like which toothpaste to buy (yes, seriously 🤣🤦♀️). Backups also ease my anxiety and FOMO, tho I have to be careful not to overstock as that only increases my anxiety!
