Phones have become so much of who we are now, even though few of us actually use the call feature. In fact, his phone has probably spent more time with him than I have. In his pocket. So close to him. I threw out his toothbrush first, gave some of his jackets and clothes away last winter, gave his truck to his son, finally cleaned out his junk drawer (our joint drawer needs far more help), and ceremoniously got rid of his underwear this week! There are so many other things I need to go through as well. Went for a lovely walk yesterday, off the beaten path in a wood. (Is there a better way?)
