◉金龍山 浅草寺（浅草観音） ◆東京都台東区浅草 ◆聖観音宗（しょうかんのんしゅう）総本山 ※昭和25年（1950）天台宗から独立。 ◆聖観世音菩薩（絶対秘仏。645〜） ①②宝蔵門（仁王門）と五重塔 ③~⑥本堂 ⑦雷門（風雷神門） （⑧風神⑨雷神） ⑩仲見世 川崎大師で2時間ほど過ごし、川崎からは京急一本（泉岳寺で都営浅草線相互乗り入れ）で行けたのでベタながら浅草へ。まぁ人出の凄いこと！先週の嵐山も凄かったけどここはもっと凄かった💦💦 今回来て初めて知ったんですが、雷門のところにいらっしゃるのは仁王像じゃなくて風神・雷神だったんですね〜♪（写真⑦~⑨）だから雷門なのか、、 👉調べてみると雷門の正式名称は「風雷神門」というのだそうです。 仲見世（中央の参道、写真⑩）は外国人だらけで動きそうにないので脇道を通って宝蔵門（仁王門）をくぐり、本堂へ。 お賽銭を入れる列に並んでいると、神社と間違えて柏手を打つ人（たぶん外国人だと思いたい😅）ちょっとしたカオスでした。 こちらのご本尊・聖観音菩薩はあの大化の改新があった645年以来、絶対秘仏として祀られているそうです（1400年近く開けられてなくて大丈夫？） 聖観音は十一面観音や千手観音、馬頭観音や如意輪観音など様々な容姿に変化する観音菩薩の基本形。それだけに懐深く人々を受け入れておられるような気がします。 #浅草 #浅草観音 #浅草寺 #金龍山浅草寺 #雷門 #雷門の風神雷神 #浅草寺雷門 #浅草寺宝蔵門 #浅草寺仁王門 #浅草寺本堂 #聖観音菩薩 #聖観音 #asakusa #sensoji #sensojitemple #tokyo #kaminarimon #kaminarimongate #hozomon #fujin #raijin #fujinandraijin

🇯🇵 Sensō-ji, renowned as Tokyo’s oldest temple, has a legendary origin story. According to legend, two brothers fishing in the Sumidagawa river unexpectedly caught a Kannon statue, representing the goddess of mercy. Despite returning it to the water, the statue miraculously reappeared. This event occurred in 628, and by 645, the construction of the temple dedicated to Kannon was finished.
