I’ve been a bit quiet on here lately, wrapped up in the ebb and flow of life’s demands. But I promise, my dear followers, that I will soon return to sharing my journey more frequently. In the heart of the journey, on the precipice of completion, here I stand at day 99. It’s a moment suspended in time, where the echoes of 98 abstracts blend with the anticipation of one final painting after today! I find myself reflecting on the voyage of creating one mini abstract every single day for 100 days—a voyage that was as much about painting as it was about persistence, about finding beauty in the struggle, and about the art of not giving up, even when every fibre of my being searched for an excuse to quit. As I sit here, with the sun rising on day 99, (and the eclipse!! lol) I am filled with a sense of pride and accomplishment. It’s a testament to what we can achieve when we set our minds to something, even when interest wanes or excuses beckon us to give in. But here’s the thing—whether it’s about pushing through or knowing when it’s okay to pivot, it’s all part of the journey. And as I prepare to share more about this experience with you, know that this isn’t just about the art I’ve created; it’s about the lessons learned, the moments of doubt, and the triumphs over them. So, as we look toward the finish line, I invite you to join me in reflecting on your own aspirations.
