Spying on Dallas through the coffee bins 👀 Our new coffee is just around the corner, and our team of roasters have been working on some adjustments. For this product we’ve been thinking about adjusting the temperature of our roast to achieve the desired profile. Keep an eye out so you can grab it while it’s hot. So, what’s the deal with roast temperatures and how do we decide what temp to use? It’s quite a tough question to answer and has loads of variables. During this process the beans can range in temperature from ambient temperature near the beginning to over 200 degrees Celsius at the end of the roast 🥵 obviously this all can change depending on the roast profile we’re aiming for. To make sure we get the L’affare taste nailed we use key points on the roasting graph to monitor our beans.
