It felt so classic Oly #summertime last night. We ate demoburgers overflowing with democratic grilled onions and they even offered pickle slices this year! BYO lettuce and tomato as always. First speed session in a long time in the form of the Lakefair 3k. Was good to be back in the unmatched atmosphere of race day. 10th overall out of 147 and 1st in age group but I think I was racing mostly kids. Run commuted to and from to make it a 12 mile endeavor. Also my bib number was 420.

Capital Lakefair has been a local tradition since the inaugural festival in 1957, when residents and area small businesses sought to coordinate a family oriented event in Downtown Olympia.
