27 weeks! We've hit another milestone - made it to the 3rd trimester with triplets!💪 Unlike my last 2 pregnancies (obviously singletons), the 2nd trimester was ROUGH. I can barely walk or breathe, and my energy level is constantly 0. I could go on and on about how difficult, challenging, and tough it's been, but to stay positive, I will not! To name a couple positives, I am eating well, no sign of pre-eclampsia (which is supposedly more common in a multiple pregnancy), no sign of twin twin transfusion syndrome (also a risk of carrying multiples), and all 3 babies are growing well! 3rd and final trimester.....I just have to keep them in for as long as I can 🙏 I have had some unwelcomed advice and/or rather hurtful things, not intentional I'm sure, said to me throughout the past few months, BUT my goal these next few weeks is to really focus on the positive! I knew very little about having boys in the house before having my own boys. They require a lot of patience, they like pushing their boundaries, they have a death wish sometimes and getting dirty* is fun!!!! They want to be tough but they also get scared and just want to sleep next to you. Their feelings matter and we need to teach them that all those feelings are healthy, that it is ok to cry. They each have their own love language and we need to speak it! They need firmness and kindness all at the same time. ✨We made it to Friday! ✨ I feel like this picture is such a great visual for the week- almost everything half done, we (and the house) look like we’ve been hit by a tornado, but we’re all still happily chugging along.
