Did somebody say “Wild West”?! A time was had last night. Our pastors hosted a phenomenal volunteer party for us and they have no clue the healing it did for my soul… such an on-time gathering. I thank God for my tribe— we laughed hard and partied harder. One thing I realized is that there’s nothing like community. The old Janeé would disassociate and retreat whenever going through. Now? I no longer see myself as a burden. I get to run to these safe places to get my cup filled. No judgment. Just love. I know I’m living my life to change someone else’s, but the helpers need helpers too.

Shame is a deep rooted emotion that negatively effects many areas of our lives. These emotions may include: feeling insecure, worthless, stupid, inadequate, etc. The best way to resolve shame is by pinpointing exactly where it came from.
