WHY, @lillypulitzer can’t you get your sizing correct to be at least consistent in the same type of item? I don’t mind having to buy literally four different sizes (XS-L) in your clothing, but may I count on a particular type of item at least being consistent.🤦🏼♀️ All winter, I had to get smalls or mediums in sweaters-no consistency. Lately, tops same thing. The new Kylars-love them, but they are NOT Chrissy sized like one would assume.🥸 Also, leggings styles are not consistent lately. These Toucan Do It Better print in the leggings is my fav in a LONG time, but fits totally different than the exact print counterparts on the website. It’s SO true that IG is a highlight reel-that’s why I don’t post on my wall very often. I adore every second of my IG time, but sometimes just don’t want to be part of the highlight reel, personally. I’m SO thankful every day for my life being miraculously spared in 2000, but that doesn’t mean it’s been a cakewalk. In fact far from it! Well, Friends, it was an amazing mail day! 📬 All of my APS orders except for my blue peri Tatum have arrived. 👏🏼 I’ve been sharing them in stories as they have come in, so this was just today’s haul! I did get one size larger in the recut Linden since I’m in between sizes on that particular style, and I’m so glad I did! It does run shorter than other similar styles and also than Lindens typically do. My size fell out of my cart of the recut Floridita Essie, so I took a chance and purchased one size smaller. SO glad I did as it is running very large. I’ve heard a lot of frustration on recut sizing/quality/color from APS in recent sales and years. It’s a RECUT. Lilly is clearly realizing they are not up to par and keeping them for APS, with no returns at a deeply discounted cost. I always am aware that I may not like the quality or it may not fit-but it also may and I will have a one of a kind, possibly Holy Grail for next to nothing. That’s my take! 💐 Also, SO glad I got this beach mat since it was the only piece of Sea To Shining Sea that I was missing due to Lilly canceling all sig/boutique stores orders for this particular GWP, and I shop small exclusively except for a tad during APS! I truly felt blessed to be able to go see @official_flo , @nelly , and @officialtlc outside in this gorgeous venue in Northern Arkansas of all places! Today marks two years since my mother’s homegoing. Since, I don’t live locally to her gravesite, my heart ached to be able to take fresh flowers to her grave today. Two weeks ago, through the beautiful Lilly fam @morgnifique messaged me (after seeing a story with my mother’s grave area) to see if it was in Loudoun county. I answered yes and she graciously offered to go place flowers at some point. I sent her additional pics for location, but never of the headstone with the date, nor did I ever mention it. Today, after not having spoken since then, she messaged me to tell me she had attended the Leesburg Flower & Garden show with her husband and purchased a bouquet to place there today. She had no idea today was the two year anniversary of my mother’s passing. She also didn’t know my mother and I attended that show many years together during the 10 years I lived in Virginia. She also didn’t know my mother quite honestly detested “store bought” flowers and these were from someone’s beautiful garden. My mother gardened her heart out planting and ordering special bulbs for her huge daffodil/peony/tulip collection that basically took over a large portion of my parent’s 10 acres. The additional 9 photos (first photo is of sweet Morgan today) are not in any particular order, nor of the highest quality, but represent my mother’s life and our times together. My brief descriptions below are not in order either, but still bearing my heart and soul today. The dove 🕊 photo was myself and my niece releasing doves at her funeral (I’m still wearing Lilly-classic yellow short cardi of my mother’s worn with a non-Lilly skirt she bought for the cruise we never made it to because of her rapid decline). The pic of us together was from the last cruise we went on-I’m wearing the Spring Fever Darleena maxi with the matching pink cardi from that spring. The bouquet is all straight from my mother’s garden. The wedding photo is of my parent’s remarriage (yes they met at 17/18, married at 18/19 divorced later, and remarried and I was a product of the remarriage pictured here).
