Both gave a floral flavour, while the latte was fairly sweet, the tea blended perfectly well with a subtler scent and refreshing aroma 💕🍵 The mains were just about average as we found the rice was quite soggy 🥲 BUT!!! Street Burger Gordon Ramsay (26Apr24). Food: 7/10, Atmosphere: 7/10, Solo diner rating: 7/10. This burger joint is pretty good. For starter I had the #macncheese (creamy and mustardy with a crunchy top - just how I like it). My Hell’s Kitchen burger was billed as being extremely hot but mine didn’t have much chilli heat at all. It was however juicy and not too big for my mouth which is a plus in my opinion. The sticky toffee pudding was cold and served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream - sound enough but would have preferred it warm. The offer of £20 for a burger and Koffmann fries (this I presume is derived from the great chef #pierrekoffmann and #jamieoliver also features these on his menu) which were slightly flavoured with vinegar, were crispy and well cooked, unlike the anaemic stuff you get from McDonald’s. In the O2 venue itself you have to pay £20 for a bog standard burger on its own so in the scheme of things and for the area it is a modest bargain. Still can’t reconcile myself fully with paying that for a burger though! Great dinner @morchelladining last week. They’ve really made the most of the original architecture of the space and it feels airy without being cold. 🥯 It might be a little outside of central London but this brunch spot is absolutely worth the short journey. @215hackney can be found on Stoke Newington High Street (number 215 to be precise) and serves up Middle Eastern cuisine with a London twist. I went for the Morning Palestine - special Jerusalem bagel with honey and homemade tahini butter, 2 fried eggs with black sesame seeds and sumac, organic feta, Persian olives, halloumi, muammara and hummus dip. Really fresh, really flavourful food served in a cosy cafe lined with books 😍 I really need to go back to try the Baklava French Toast!!! 20% of all their profits are donated to @warchilduk, who help support children affected by wars around the world.

we was kindly invited to try @ticcatikkalondon in shoreditch who serve modern Indian cuisine that is fully halal🥘 we ordered - mango and avocado salad🥭 salt and pepper squid indo-chinese style, served in a wet sauce which was sweet but had a good kick of spice🦑 dynamite prawns🍤 crispy fried shrimp coated in a spicy bang bang sauce bombay style butter chicken lovely tomato and yoghurt curry with a mild spice lamb biryani, this was our favourite thing we ordered the portion size was huge! could defo serve two, had so many big chunks of lamb and the flavours were amazing masala chips🌶️ have been wanting to try masala chips for a while these were good at first but the sticky sweet sauce did get a bit sickly after a while and then went a bit soggy peshwari naan🥥 obviously😋 lemon rice🍋 the restaurant is completely halal so they don’t serve alcohol but they had some delicious mocktails, we tried the cotton candy one and the strawberry mojito🍹 we were really surprised at how many vegan dishes they offered and they also offer breakfast/brunch on the weekends which looks fun! restaurant was really cute as well and very close to hoxton station thanks for inviting us @ticcatikkalondon 🥰

📍alma cafe in primrose hill, london ☕️ cappuccino, mushroom folded eggs and merguez on toast 💰 £3.60 (+50p for oat milk), £11.95 and £13.50 📝 happy weekend everyone and i am back again with another brunch post bc what better way is there to start the weekend🤭 alma is a cosy little spot nearby primrose hill but they also have three other branches in london: hammersmith, battersea and barnes! their menu is quite small but concise which is a green flag imo bc that’s when you know the food is all gonna be made to order and with care and these dishes were exactly that🫶 first off i have to compliment the presentation bc they were both GORGEOUS!i got the mushroom folded eggs which sounds simple but it was actually really elevated bc of the range of mushrooms used and the lovely touch of truffle oil. im not a huge fan of lamb so i only tired a little bit of the merguez toast but the avocado complimented the dish well and made the lamb flavour more ‘bearable’ - it was a little small for the price but overall a solid dish. i am def interested in returning esp for their sweet dishes bc ive heard their pancakes are amazing!
Probably one of the most talked about restaurants in the London scene over the past year - managed to nab a table @mountain.restaurant ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ✅ Wood fired Majorcan style restaurant located in the heart of Soho ✅ Menu is extensive, made up of small bites, and larger dishes cooked over the fire ✅ Best for that foodie bucket list, special meal whilst not being over fussy. Looking at £80-120 per head for the full experience ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Opening in early 2023, @mountain.restaurant owned by the team behind @bratrestaurant immediately was at the top of people's hit lists. Making it nigh on impossible to get a table for the first 6 months or so, the hype and acclaim was high. Fast forward a year later and March 2024 saw it awarded a @michelinguide star. So I happened to see some tables open up I jumped at the chance. The scene is one of an open kitchen and waiters in aprons look giving it a relaxed feel, whilst instantly feeling at home. The menu is pretty big, different sections from their cold and hot small plates, wood fired dishes and then big cuts of fish and meat. Recommend you get a selection of each for the most rounded experience. Top highlights were some excellent pumpkin Fritto with honey which has elite level crisp and nice tangy sweetness, wild mushrooms with cured egg yolk and the house flat bread was top notch. Moving on to the large dishes, beef sweetbreads and leeks I could have gobbled up and fried rice was full of flavour. Partridge with pear and liver mousse was very tasty but the highlight of the meat cuts was the mutton chops, salty and moreish and you just wanted to eat it with you hands off the bone. Always room for dessert and the marmalade torrija was melt in your mouth good. Trying other deserts on the table confirmed I could have eaten them all. Lots of love for this place. Great food, executed well. You do pay for the quality and the ⭐ but let's be honest it is very much worth it!

Incase you need a reminder that food will not hurt you. Skipping meals will cause you more harm than good in the long run. Trust me 💕 Pizza, pasta, burgers, local foods, fried foods, smoothies, cocktails - you name it we’ve had it and do you know what… I don’t regret a single one - tbh after it’s eaten I don’t really think about it, instead I remember the gorgeous service, or cute dogs in the cafe, or Vietnamese children that smiled at me. Those things make memories and will be what I look back on, not the fries or fried rices I had. And that’s why this holiday has been amazing 💕
📍 Être, Shadwell [ invite / ad ] Been a while since I shared some photos but I thought these @pipp_and_co doughnuts photographed beautifully in @etreldn 🍩✨ Could eat these again 😋 my favourite was the jam doughnut (I mean come on, look at it oozing out!) the vanilla custard was incredible too, loved the vanilla bean in it 😍 they were all really nice though!
