I got some acrylic cases for my Lunar 1 and Lunar 2. I've been waiting for over 20 years to be able to display them properly and safely. They have been in ziploc bags all this time, lol. I asked @kollectorprotector back in August 2023 if he would make these cases for these 2 games, as well as Arc the Lad Collection. Being that they are 3 different sizes, it was unlikely. I checked his online store recently and found he had them for sale! Was a great surprise! These acrylic cases are awesome. They protect the game inside against UV light, dust, and greasy fingers. They have 2 small magnates inside the lid that ensure the lid stays closed while still being easily opened. They even come with 4 small clear rubber feet you can put on the bottom, so they grip your shelf for extra security. As the title suggests, the only way to obtain this poster was to buy the Lunar 2 guide (which came out several months AFTER the game released - in very low quantities - so by then, most fans would have moved on.) and cut out the free poster offer in the last page of the guide, and snail mail it to WD with a money order of 4 bucks for shipping. I wasn't about to mutilate my Lunar 2 guide, so i never got the poster when i had the chance. So! I've been looking for this incredibly rare Lunar 2 poster for over 20 years. I finally own it! Thank you so much for the trade! You know who you are! Slide 2: Lunar: The Silver Star Sega CD Working Designs Poster. This one is also pretty rare. I had it as a kid but sold it about 10 years ago like an idiot. These are games from both my collection & my brother’s collection. Photo 2 and 3 is what I have - Albert Odyssey, Dragon Force, 2 Lunar Psone games, 2 Lunar Sega CD games, and 2 Lunar guides. The rest of the Psone and PS2 games are my brother’s. We both have the 2 Lunar games for Psone. Typically my brother and I try not to buy the same things as each other, so that combined we’ll have a wider variety of games, but there’s some overlap. Vanguard Bandits, Growlanser Generations, and Gungriffon Blaze are all still sealed. My brother and I have 14 out of the 29 games Working Designs published. These are the 15 games we don’t have: - the 6 TurboGrafx-16 games - Popful Mail and Vay for Sega CD - Elemental Gearbolt, RayStorm, and Ray Crisis for PSone - Iron Storm, Magic Knight Rayearth, Sega Ages, and Shining Wisdom for Saturn @stylish_neerd has all of those Psone and Saturn games so check out her post today to see those if you haven’t already! One of the things I love about Working Designs is the disc variants. Swipe to photos 6 and 7 for an example of the variants for the 3 game discs of Lunar Eternal Blue for PSone. One of my biggest accomplishments this year was finishing 6/7 Ghaleon cosplays. No I haven't done his SEGA CD demon form (yet), but I have done every other version. Reminder: While it's been modified since it's original debut on DeviantART back in 2015, I am THE FIRST person to cosplay the version in the bottom middle, his PS1/PSP final boss form. Huiuiui, hier darf ich euch die neueste Errungenschaft aus der Kategorie „gar nicht mal so leicht zu kriegen“ präsentieren. Dass die Lunar-Spiele für die PS1 nicht mehr allzu leicht zu bekommen sind, ist kein Geheimnis. Dass es bei den wunderschönen Collector‘s Editionen noch schwerer ist, versteht sich von selbst. Nachdem ich im letzten(?) Jahr an eine gut erhaltene Version des ersten Teils rangekommen bin, wollte ich für Eternal Blue auch wieder die CE haben. Hatte in den letzten Monaten immer mal wieder Händler und Privatverkäufer angeschrieben und Preisvorschläge angeboten, aber niemand war wirklich kompromissbereit, da das Spiel inzwischen auch gerne mal für 500 EUR+ über die Ladentheke geht. Kürzlich hat es jemand in einem faireren Rahmen angeboten und wir konnten uns auf einen Kompromiss einigen. Dadurch hat es diese ultrahübsche Edition endlich in meine Sammlung geschafft. As a kid I played Lunar 1 Sega CD and Lunar 2 on PS1 just bc Lunar 2 has some quality of life improvements and added content. I have not played this original rendition of the game but I picked it up recently because no RPG fan’s game collection is complete without Lunar 1 and Lunar 2. Originalmente lanzado en 1998 para el Sega Saturn en Japón, fue porteado a @playstation en 1999, y traducido para América en el 2000 por la editora Working Designs. El juego originalmente fue lanzado para el @sega CD. Es parte de la serie Lunar. Como con el primer juego, Lunar 2 presenta una enorme cantidad de elementos que gustan a los gamers a un nivel personal. La historia presenta personajes apreciables involucrados en misiones que les ayudarán a madurar como personas, en particular, los dos personajes principales desarrollan un fuerte romance. El diálogo sobresale, ya que hasta los personajes menores tienen gran cantidad de diálogo. Happy Friday everyone! What’s your favorite collector’s edition of all time? Nowadays, it seems like a lot of collector’s editions aren’t worth the premium price companies charge for them. I’ve seen TONS of them that are just filled with either the minimum to consider it a collector’s edition, or with dollar store quality junk. It blows my mind that this edition of Lunar 2 Eternal Blue came out in the 90’s and is higher quality than majority of today’s collector’s editions! I want to say they don’t make them like they used to, but I definitely do feel that way sometimes!
