The Scarecrows are back! This year’s Feast Weekend marks the return of the much loved Scarecrow trail to link together all the various activities taking place across the village. We want as many residents of Market Overton to take part as possible. 📨 Submit your entry to [email protected] or to 07772287285 with the following information: - Your name - Address - Name of scarecrow display - Location of installation (eg front garden, end of driveway) ⌛ The deadline for submitting your entry is Midnight Friday 21 June ⭐ Scarecrow displays must be within the theme “Past, present & future”, and be in position by 9am Thursday 27 June 🧑‍⚖️ Scarecrows will be viewed by an appointed judge and members of the public between Friday 28 - Sunday 30 June during the Feast Weekend celebrations. I am ... Naturally shy. In a group of people, I am always the one who speaks the least. I prefer to listen than to spout. Truly, it takes a lot for me to stand up in front of people and speak. Yet for Spirit, with Spirit - in partnership with Spirit, I do gladly, and with joy. The way I get round it, is that it's not really me speaking - it's Spirit, I am merely the vessel that gives them the voice, the opportunity to speak and to share that which is important to them, to say what they want to say to their loved-ones. Over the years I have invested a lot into being able to do what I do for Spirit. Years of development, working with different tutors, and various different areas of Spirit work. I even worked with a professional voice coach @pricillamorris for quite a while too. So as I prepare for the 'Mediumship in the Village' event this evening - raising funds for the Cancer Wellbeing Centre, I take heart in the support that other Mediums have shown me over the years ... Bringing peace of mind from the other side. It's what I do.
