Great power is to listen, and stillness is a very powerful thing. Being in the moment is truly a gift. I usually donโt photograph downtown, but I liked the aesthetic of my second to last post. I can get really shy sometimes when other people are around when I am posing next to my motorcycle. I am working through that. I made a break though last week. As I got into the grove, one couple stopped and wanted to meet Denali. They told me their dog just passed, and they needed some puppy love. I was in their position not long ago when my senior dog, Reggie, passed. I completely understood the loneliness of not having a dog and missing someone so much that your heart aches. When you meet someone for the first time, it is fascinating. You can learn so much from them and about yourself. They told me about their dog and showed me some photographs. It was amazing watching Denali with them because it was as if she knew exactly what they were going through. She gave them extra love as if telling them it would be alright. It was beautiful. ๏ฟผ I think if we gave everyone some of our time and our full attention, the world would be a very different place. Some people just need to know someone else has been through the same thing. There is so much comfort in that. According to Transport Scotlandโs Reported Road Casualties 2022 report, there were 467 motorcycle casualties, including 25 fatalities, that year: an increase of 2% on 2021. It is evident that more needs to be done to reduce these numbers..
